In before RE4 pic comparison.
Is RE4 60 or 30 FPS?

So if it runs at 60 fps, it's automatically impressive? :lolantiloop said:In before RE4 pic comparison.

Given what's been shown so far, it would be pretty easy to port it.Arde said:It would be great if we'd actually be able to see DMC4 port to the Wii.

EA has shown that sports games, GTA style games, and even xTreme sports games can work on the Wii.
If anything, Capcom should be the first Japanese company to show how to create a high octane action Wii game that effectively uses the Wiimote.
A man can dream....

Two characters on screen? Big f*cking deal!
I don't care what sort of bells and whistles are present, flare, blur, ass-mapping, linear testicular gradient filtering. . . demand more from developers, or you'll only have yourself to blame when all you're playing are slightly prettier versions of the crap you played last gen!
Despite trolling in every post, I must commend you for never getting the banstick for it. You must have some friends high up to not get put down for the amount of shit you spew.:lolELS-01X said:Given what's been shown so far, it would be pretty easy to port it.

I don't think DMC4 is any sort of graphical showcase, but that was such a stupid thing to say.

Those screens are from the original video released BEFORE the PS3 hardware was even announced to be complete! Same as EA Madden videos, same as Killzone videos. None of those were RUNNING on a PS3.
Do you see a HUD anywhere in those screens? They SCREAM pre-rendered.

I never said that these graphix were running real time on PS3 hardware back then.
I am just saying, that at some point between TGS05 and TGS06, Capcom dropped all efforts to ever reach (IIRC they were barking about to even surpass them) these visuals.
They just went the faster, cheaper route with multiplatform options ... the most logical way when your policy is MAXIMUM PROFIT.

It's a troll. You need only check his posting history to see what I mean.Hatorade said:It's not really troll, but it's a dumb comment. LP, DR, DMC4, and RE5 are all done using the same engine once it gets to a certain point it's taken to the specific platform and optimized. Multiplatform games can look great, but by their very nature aren't going to be maxing a platform since want compatibility on some level across the board.

Hatorade said:maybe in intent but how he did itcertainly isn't something you can prove so easily, at the very least what he said on some levels is true. More of spin if anything than a troll. I've seen his posts btw and it's quite typical he just seems ride the line well being a dumb troll and a smart one.

That level of destruction isn't any better than in the troll fight in RE4. In fact, it even had a cool DOF/MB effect, completely absent here.jett said:![]()
