Indeed, but apparently HS is the new graphical showcase. I still think games like DMC4 and Sigma are more visually inviting to me than HS.
Big epic waterfalls and epic battles with epic retard dynasty warrior rejects and shit doesn't do anything for me.
And personally, the only thing more impressive about HS animations than DMC tends to come from the QTE/Shenmue inspired animations. As for the in-game animations, DMC4 is staccato, short quick and compact. Of course, HS will seem to have more elaborate animations because the game lends itself ot a more wild/button mashy approach where they can go wild for this.
But I'd rather have smooth, decent animations that are quick that lend itself to the gameplay, than long-winded ones that you get bored of for watching for the bajallionth time.
And then we have the fact that HS is near approaching done, and DMC4 is still listed as TBA. Ultimately, if screenshots sell games -- maybe it was a mistake for Capcom to make DMC4 60 fps. Maybe they should it down to 720p and 30 fps. And the damage control is do---
