The music in the commercial is the same as the Fire Emblem that was done at Nintendo's Smashing Live! Super Smash Bros. concert. IIRC, they didn't use the theme in the US GBA version but it's good to see it return. Absolutely excellent theme.

I really hope there's a good amount of CG in this game, I think its the perfect transition into a 3D form of the Fire Emblem art style, it fits perfectly.

However from what I've seen so far, it looks like theres just a nice intro and maybe a scene or two within the game, still better than nothing though.

Hey, if it worked for Baten Kaitos, it can work for Fire Emblem. I doubt that Nintendo would leave it at that.

Especially since this type of FMV is not nearly as cost prohibitive as Baten Kaitos's. And there woud be two platform LOZs, & one FE. I didn't think categorically they (GBA titles) would be grouped along with console titles.

I don't really think the Disgaea-style of SRPG (which stems from TO/FFT) should be directly compared to Fire Emblem-style SRPGs. In games like Disgaea, there really isn't any emphasis on difficulty or scenario design, it's all about leveling up your troops and making them super ultra powerful. In games like Fire Emblem, beating scenarios in as fewest turns possible and figuring out the general strategy of the map is what's important.

So that said, I expect a lot of people to argue over which is better once this game comes out here.

I don't think any SRPG has ever had production values as high as this Fire Emblem game though.

Thank you. Lots of FMV pimping. This is new for Nintendo. I hope they it turns out as cool as it looks. Love the character and portrait art. The GBA games were very nice given the platform, in this regard.

Man, I cannot wait. I hope they went just as overboard in music quality!
