New GTA 5 PC Screenshots 3/27/2015

The lighting looks amazing and the anti aliasing looks great, but the foliage seems to have the same issue as the current gen console versions where the foliage kind of looks like paper.

Still, if/when I build a new PC I'll be sure to triple dip.

This game is fucking awesome!

You guys are in for a real treat.

Forget about the delays, just know that this will be one of those games that will have a permanent place on your hard drive for years to come.

What do you mean, with every setting fully maxed? No lol MSAA will tank your framerate if you max it.

What set up would I get to run this at max easily at 1080? I don't care about 4k and other crazy bells and whistles. Is there any card on the market that can do this without tinkering? And as you can see, I have no idea what settings do what other than the basic aliasing and v-sync type stuff.

It's amazing what current graphics look like at 4K with very high AA.
I doubt my 970 will look anywhere near this good but hopefully I can max everything and get 2xMSAA at 1080p60 with adaptive vsync.

I have yet to touch this game. Hopefully, all of the delays actually result in a quality port.

Nobody can answer that and I don't think anyone knows what "max" settings means for this game.

Looks great but with promotional material it's hard to draw any conclusion. I want to see how the PC version runs at near max or full flat max settings and if there are any improvement over the PS4/XBO versions.

Well I don't believe it will either run good or look this good until I see some quality gameplay video of it or I play it myself.

Welp....

We won't really know until it's out but you don't need to max every single setting for the game to look amazing.

Well, these shots reminded me that I had 22 TF2 keys waiting to be spent on this game.

Wouldn't be surprised if they managed to squeeze in another delay just for the heck of it.

I just realized the system requirements state this game, in the year of our lord 2015, will STILL run on a Q6600.

But seriously, do people here generally believe the listed system requirements for the game? They seem really low, even if GTA V was originally a PS3/360 game. Looking at the recommended specs gives me hope I might be able to squeeze 60fps out of my 2GB 760 at 1080p (with the lowest AA setting). If so, it'll at least get some kind of confidence boost before Witcher 3 smashes it into the ground.

Just to make sure, a 970 will be able to easily run this max at 1080, right? Because I'm close to pulling the trigger on one now.

My best guess is something comparable to max yes. Some settings may be extreme, like original textures that require more vram. Draw distance setting could be very demanding at max and not really necessary.

Hmm, I'm trying to tell if that's 4k with good AA or it's supersampled from 8k, but not really sure which specific artifacts to look for. Looking good, anyway.

Uggggh, I need a new CPU and mobo for this, but I probably won't be able to afford it for another 3 years or so. At least by then there will be plenty of great mods.

Rockstar has a history of pulling GTAV bullshots so I'll remain sceptical.

What would be bullshotty about this? If you got a good enough PC, you can downsample your game and get it to look just as smooth. And the assets in these images don't look at all embellished from what we already have, just cleaner.

Guys the PC really is the best at everything.

A 280 is a very old GPU which does not support DX11. It's barely above the minimum specs.
Unless (s)he's talking about the AMD R9 280x instead of the NVIDIA GTX280 ;) In that case it should easily perform better than the PS4.

Yes that must be it, no way he was talking about the GTX 280.
Still I don't know if his 280 will fare very well in this game especially when you factor in that GTA 5 is likely very CPU bound and AMD drivers not delivering the full performance of DX11 in that scenario....

I guess it could slightly outperform both consoles if paired with a burly CPU.
