New Sonic game rumored to be unviled in February for almost every platform

The month is almost over...

Also, Generations nailed the 3D sections, 1st time they have been fun in a long time. I'd like a Generations 2. First one was by far the best Sonic game I'd played in years.

Sonic Adventure 3 next gen oh shiiiiiiiiii-

Sonic Dash was announced for the iOS. That was it.

March, maybe. If they're releasing in November like they always do it's going to have to be soon.

You found the ones in Generations fun, but not the ones in Unleashed? I really think that's strange because they are so similiar.

An endless runner ala Rayman Jungle Run would be the best Sonic game made in decades really. Hopefully thats what Sonic Dash is (and is also Android bound).

If you like endless runners and Sonic, try Sonic & the Secret Rings for Wii :).

Ah yes, the infamous "play it a few hours to unlock good gamefeel" game. I should have quantified 2D endless runner really, since Rayman Jungle Run's Wall Running levels are almighty level design purity. Sega still doesnt really know what to do with Sonic in 3D (see switching to 2D sections all the time in the 3D games).

To be honest, an endless runner Sonic is not a bad idea provided they add variety and numerous stages (not levels per se, obviously, but stages with different themes). Is this going to be like Temple Run? Obviously fitting, but they should also consider something in the veins of Jetpack Joyride. Perhaps a mix of 2D and 3D elements (like the recent Sonic games) would be best.

All that said, it is a bit frustrating we haven't had a real Sonic title (bar the invisible entry that was Sonic 4 II) since Generations. Sega should fix that, and take the chance to put the franchise in order, now that it doesn't have as much of a controversially bad reputation as a few years ago.
