It would be very funny if this was disingenuously docked footage super imposed onto the image of the handheld. But the bridge section looks about 20fps so maybe not.

Its Switch2 docked footage 4sure, game is very scalable, it just looks very nasty then.
For comparision thats laptop 3050 4gb card, much weaker from weakest desktop ampere card that is 3050 6gb, that laptop gpu has 60W tdp, so still roughly 50% more of docked switch but u can make all kinds of guesses already, since game will likely be optimised for switch2 aka console gonna be punching above its weightclass :)

TLDR 1080p dlss quality, aka native 720p dlss upscaled to 1080p, low graphical settings, and u get fps in the 50s in cities/vilages and around 40 on high speed traversal openworld.

I don't think it looks that bad for the switch 2 but it isn't great either. Overall it's not bad and i expect them to improve the framerate before the game launches.

We don't know how old the build was, or why they choose to put out the trailer now.

Did Nintendo ask them too? Was the footage not available for the April 2nd Direct? Did Ubisoft need this to reassure investors that Ubisoft is supporting NS2?, Etc.

SW Outlaws clearly needs major improvements prior to release on NS2. They need to get it to a locked 30fps (minimum).

They have some time to achieve this. If the game isn't offering proper performance on NS2, hopefully Ubisoft delays the release until it is ready.

If that really represents the way it plays/looks on the Switch 2 then that's utterly atrocious.

Even if it is bad, I can't help but feel like the video is even worse than it really is due some combination of YT compression and how they made the trailer.

As a full on next-gen only game this will be a litmus test for NS2

I think this is the first time Ubi doesn't have a launch title ready for a console? For Switch they had Just Dance. do they have it now?

I thought it looked great but then again i watched it on my oled phone,

Framerate is the only thing that is bad about it but there is no way they will ship with that framerate.

It's impressive that you cannot even coherently put one sentence together.
It's got that CBoaT charm.

EDIT: I just wish it was literally any other Star Wars or Ubisoft game. I get why Ubi would want it to be Outlaws, both as a showcase and a second chance, but there are reasons I didn't pick it up when it first launched, and portability doesn't do anything to address them.

-Is going to be less powerful than the Steamdeck
-Steamdeck is a 2022 handheld and the Switch is $450 Great achievement.
-Is going to be less powerful than the PS4 Pro lol keep dreaming
-Of course is going to be better than consoles from 2013
-120hz screen for a Nintendo Handheld lolol Hopium
-No way is going to be close to the Series S 0% chance
