Again all those reports have been debunked, you know this. You deliberately keep bringing it up.

What the hell are you talking about, it's running hot, there is nothing to debunk.

i did not say it's melting the ice caps did i. It's working as intended but there are 3-4 people who have had the console that have said that. It's not going to change that fact.

The C7 cable and C8 inlet as used in the PS5 is rated to 2.5A at 250VAC by the IEEE but can be designed to go higher. It is not limited to 250W.
In Europe sure, however you are right for North America is rating 7A at 120VAC, my bad then. I though the current stay same.

You are implying that it's too hot, that there are issues. There aren't any. Numerous sources have said that heat is coming from the top of the console because that's there it is deliberately pointed to. And Microsoft themselves said that it is as warm as the Xbox One X. That's cooler than a PS4 Pro. So again, no issue at all.

If the current stayed the same the rating still wouldn't be 250W :messenger_winking:

I did not wanted to comment on my shitty knowledge of plugs : D Sure it's 2.5x240, give it or take. I hear about the wattage rate, when XSX was first unveiled and somewhat run with it. Embarassing, I know, but in my hobby world I am dealing with DC voltages most predominatelly 12V>

i am not implying anything, your the one that is trying to make it sound like its running at 5 degrees or something. Hot air is blowing out the back, the ssd was super warm to touch. That is what people said, that is what i have said. What the hell are you trying to defend or debunk, i am saying it exactly how it is. , i am not going to change basic thermals terminology just to make you happy

Who said it’s running hot? The French source and Giantbomb that redacted them? I’m surprised people are still latching onto this story. I guess Xbox has really been bulletproof with the Series X launch that it’s come down to false claims.

Electronic equipment is hot to touch. More to come on news at 11.

The problem is what you are implying, knowing that there isn't an issue. That's like 6 months ago when people implied that PS5 clocks were too high for cooling. We know better now. Feel free to keep saying it's hot. Like you said yourself, people will just report you for spouting FUD.

Supposedly ,...
if a few p5s are in close vicinity, the metal poly alloy liquid(coolant) , dissolves , exits the dust collector hole , and collectively collects, into a pool of shiny metal liquid , before transformation into a T2.... then goes on to look for all John Connors in existence!!..... to wipe out , especially if you're an Xbox fanboy. :)

I don't like hot equipment, if you do Fantastic for you, you're not me, stop trying to push your narrative on to me.

My pc runs like a furnace, i fucking hate, if you have one that does the same then that fine for you, but its not for me.

Just because you have zero concerns that does not mean i don't.

Sorry my narrative does not align with yours.

Have a good day. this is the last post to your mind thought nonsense.

Richard is in the middle of an xsx project. He mentioned this in the live stream yesterday. They cant just drop whatever they are working on. Everyone seems to have their hands full right now.

That said, Richard did say that he might have to drop the xsx project to make a video on this so you might see a video in the next couple of days.

Power delivery that high is not possible due to regulations about the main power cord being only rated up to 250W at USA, since you get lower voltage then current has to be higher. PSU are more beefy, because PSU are most effective at 70-80% of their utilisation.
Huh? I'm saying their PSU is rated that high because future accessories like VR headset would share from same PSU.

Bruh, I had to look for it. I couldn't believe he couldn't answer it. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

My response to this is simply: if covid has had such an impact on their ability to show next gen games off, why did it not also stop Sony?

With five weeks to go until console launch, it’s merely ridiculous we haven’t seen any next gen games on Series X yet. If we get to within three or so weeks, it must become something of a concern for even the most hardcore fans.

So now they can finally start sharing details on the Xbox share button. Seems like the nda's are slowly lifted on feature to feature base. Maybe we can see some next gen games at the end of the year...

is that game on hard cos that toad seems to have a shit load of hit points.

or is that a boss?

I don't know if it got hot or not, I can't say, but as a gamer PC I tend to have giant boxes I certainly wouldn't put a 12 Tflops GPU in that box even if it was completely alone.

Much less a complete system.

Before buying I would have to see with my own eyes how it behaves under high load in an environment of high temperatures.

Minimum it generates doubts to me, many doubts.

. Think equivalent to black knights or giant crabs in DS.

Fallen Order is basically a poor man’s Dark Souls wrapped up in a Star Wars skin, with more verticality. It was fine, but can’t really remember anything that exceptional about it. Good while it lasted, but a definite one and done.

Anyone watched the Zen 3 reveal today, the CPU is monstrous and there have been some interesting changes over Zen 2. AMD revealed that it will have unified CCX (cache) which RGT leaked a while back, the same feature which he said will be on the PS5 CPU and now AMD has touted as an important feature of the Zen 3 architecture specifically for gaming. Paul did mention that Sony wanted this feature because it would be really important for latency and data access.

Mark Papermaster, CTO of Technology and Engineering at AMD on the unified cache design:

"that direct access to a cache pool of this size is very significant for gaming, they tend to make use of memory sub-systems and in fact many games have a dominant thread and that makes heavy use of the cache and now that thread see's twice the L3 cache in Zen 3...
So every core can now communicate directly to the cache without traversing across the die and that reduces latency"

I don't like how that sounds... seriously... I don't like how that sounds, you showed Series S Dirt5 gameplay but can't do the same with Series X?.... Oh boy, the dynamic resolution is something that a lot of Xbox fans will start to appreciate just like PS fans...

He sounds like he’s hedging around things a bit. This is either because they have some big footage to drop that he doesn’t want to spoil, or something is afoot when it comes to next gen performance in XsX. The former is currently more likely, but they really, really, really need to show some damn games now...
