Definitely considering a purchase of MK11 for my PS5 now with all the additions and upgrades.

Rambo is an amazing addition and they got Stallone to do the voice, not to mention I just realized that RoboCop is Peter Weller also. I haven't played an MK in years, but this appeals to the 80s kid in me by leaps and bounds. Sorry not sorry.

Pretty sure that is a Samsung DDR4 chip:

Again the OQA dev kit leak said that had 3 of these chips with the retail PS5 having just one. I guess the dev kit might have a larger capacity SSD?

That would not be surprising, considering the development kit also had 16 Samsung K4ZAF325BM-HC18 (32 GB of memory).

It was speculated that the dev kit had 2 TB of SSD, as two of those DRAM chips were near the SSD.

I also asked why the Xbox was clocked so low 3 months ago, and no batted an eyelid, but now i bring it up it is considered as Fud and i am regarded as Satans scum by people like you.

As for the heat thing, there were reports from people, you have seen them, and not just one, they have come from people that have xboxs, am i not allowed to enquire or ask why there hot? Just because you don't want to hear about it or dismiss it is not my problem, that's yours.

I am allowed to say it runs hot, aren't i? Am i lying, no i am not. And yes regardless of what anyone on this forum tells me, when i see the words Toasty, super hot and Violent being used to describe a console, that makes me worry.

But now, the mere mention of this is now considered Taboo, because certain people feelings can't take the fact that there beloved piece of plastic is run a bit hot.

Is it the end of the world, no, will you still get to drool all over your favorite piece of plastic, of course, you will.

But there are videos of people Describing it as running hot, you need to deal with it not me, not me

And if you don't like what i am saying, hit the report button like the rest of the fanatic xbox people and get me banned.

I have no problem going and it will make your life a little bit easier.

If they ban you can we finally eat you? Asking for a friend :messenger_tongue:

Because the console was supposed to ship 2019 and all the titles shown so far are PS4 games that shifted to PS5 development that have been in the works for a while... i've said this multiple times and people got upset with me but the fact that most of the games have been officially revealed to be cross-gen it should be more obvious to people. Not saying the games look bad or are held back in any way, i'm just saying they're showing us PS4 games running on the PS5 dev kits with snazzy next gen enhancements added on.

Source?

TOTALLY FINE BUD. nps what so ever.

on a serious note NO lol

Let me just clarify this before some idiot makes the 6 o'clock news.
You will Die if you try the above, do not do it.

Never ever fuck around with electricity, even for fun.

Relax, it wouldn't be your fault if there was a rash of electrocutions. It's be Sony's for making people suddenly need to learn how to use a screwdriver.

Quick question on the liquid metal for those in the know. If you get one of these and disassemble it (break that seal), can you just put it back together since it stays liquid?

not sure if Proud Boys or tiki torch boys

You know the funny thing is that if you look at it...they may all be nerds but they STILL look like they have more testosterone than the antifa I've seen on TV! lol

You know....you'd probably just about get Microsoft to commit digital Sepukku if you put that pic on twitter with some heading of 'nazi Microsoft supporters or something' because I almost guarantee some folks would pick it up and distribute it, thinking it was serious! Kinda funny.....and then not- the longer I think it over.. Oh well! ;)

Actually fun boys and girls. Xbox fan fest is a fun time for people.

It's amazing how every twitter personality that is and xbox fan and even just video game fans in the tweet are constantly ragged on here.

That's very true. I haven't been to one of these events for Microsoft but for sure similar type things from Apple or other companies...it is pretty cool being in a jazzed up crowd for these types of events. Really fun. It's like a positive version of the 'mob effect.'

Maybe so but the gesture and even a few faces do have that aggressive body language about it in the image which gives it that vibe like someone else stated almost like a nazi rally

Curious to know what both Sony and Microsoft have planned in the coming months, in terms of big events and reveals. My hunch is both companies especially Sony have some cards hidden under the table and if need be both will try to counter each other. I really do want to see gameplay from the Xbox side of things as well, Hellblade 2 footage was a little suspect but I expect it too still look awesome, I wonder if Microsoft will reveal more towards the end of the year. We also know based on multiple sources that Metal Gear Solid is being remastered/redone from the ground up for the PS5 and PC, this is the same title that Mark Cerny is supposedly working on. God of War sequel is also coming out next year as well and I'm dam certain the have footage ready to show, just a matter of when.

Yeah I know, but just wanted to confirm for myself, and thought others would find that interesting.

I tried my laptop which has Wi-Fi 6, and pinged my router WiFi 5 (802.11ac) and it got 3 to 5 ms.
I also tried my desktop which has Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and I got 1 ms. Not sure why that is faster.

To do this yourself, open Command Prompt, and type "Ping" followed by your router's address.

So as you can see, latency does not seem to be an issue.

Latency depends on the number of devices using that radio spectrum. This includes your own devices but also your neighbours devices if their router is on the same channel as yours.

Wi-Fi 6 increases the number of devices that can talk simultaneously in addition to reducing the wait time for other devices.

Wi-Fi 6 improves latency in a more crowded environment.

The problem is to truly the benefits of this, everything needs to be on Wi-Fi6. Having Wi-Fi5 devices on the network can hamper the improvements 6 brings to some extent.

Which is the reason every device coming out now should really be on 6. Especially if this device has a lifespan of the next 7-10 years. This is the reason I think the Xbox should have come with Wi-Fi6.

I don’t think Wi-Fi6 will be used for VR. As you mentioned the bandwidth isn’t there. It needed to be WiGig for that which isn’t in the PS5.

VR will most likely use that USBC port.

Bingo. Maybe we'll get some blitz of information starting the last week of October or starting in November and leading up the the launch? They've held off so long on giving all the information, I guess they might as well try and dump it just a couple of weeks before release so they can try to spin up more of a feeding frenzy for purchases over the holidays.. Guess we'll see! The good news is, I guess, that the clock is really expiring fast now. I suppose if we get NOTHING till launch we'll at least get that then...and so worst case we've got a month to go.

Good point, people who were lucky enough to secure a pre-order will have the consoles in their hands in just 30-40 days. We're reaching a point were both companies will be forced to show some of their cards, I know on the Sony side of things we're still yet to see the user interface as well as a breakdown of it, I think we'll be seeing it really soon. However another event for Sony revealing new games and trailers, then that might be a few months away as you said in the worst case scenario. Backwards compatibility is also another one, Sony have not talked about it much but it would be nice to learn more about and see which titles will benefit from the boost, also it would be great if we get next-gen patches for Ghost of Tsuhima, Last of us 2, God of War and even third party titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 all of which have breathtaking visuals IMHO.

I just asked for the thread to be closed not the website lol. Was just looking for clarification since it was promised to be closed once we got the tear down, but I get it this is like the only place most of you visit on this forum. PlayStation OT is open for most of y’all to go to btw or Xbox OT for the other 3 people left.

NO!!! We all want to congregate in this thread damnit! 😂😂😂

Overall, I doubt either company has much left to say til next year. Just the usual launch stuff. I doubt we get anymore big reveals or announcements until spring 2021. And I doubt God of War hits 2021. Expect it to slip into early 2022. They're not gonna rush that game and risk underdelivering. It doesn't even have an official title yet. Notice how all of Sony's first party games coming out in 2021 have game pages up on Sony's site, except God of War. Its not coming out any time soon.

I'm expecting the game to come out next year but I will not at all be surprised if the game is pushed to 2022. Which is annoying and also curious because if it is the case then it would have been very ballsy of Sony announcing the 2021 date even after the covid-19 drama.

Oculus Quest 2 (release date is this upcoming Oct 13th) is wireless, and runs 3 to 4 hours on battery. It's resolution is 3,664 x 1920 (1,832 x 1920 per eye) and supports 90 Hz. It's almost 4K. 4K is 8 million pixels, and this is 7 million.
Oculus Quest 2 doesn't support streaming. It's doing on-device processing. In order to connect it to the computer you need Oculus Link, an optic fiber cable that allows you to play at 5 meters at most.
There's also the non-official virtual desktop and ALVR apps but those exhibit a lot of compression artifacts when playing something fast like beat saber.

The VIVE wireless adapter uses WiGig witch works on the 60GHz band which is fastest and less congested than the 5GHz wifi 6 band. It has a real world performance of about 5Gbps which is more than double the expected 2Gbps Wifi 6.

If PSVR2 is wireless it will use WiGig, not Wifi6

Man! After watching the PS5 teardown video, PS5 looks like the most advanced console in the world right now, it has all the latest technology packed inside, high quality engineering, top notch attention to detail, even though it's a big boy it is very well-designed powerful hardware. I mean, come on who the fuck would put fucking Liquid metal inside the mass produced consumer electronics?? PS5 deserves an award. Mark Cerny and Sony's hardware engineering team deserves an award. All these technologies for mere fucking $400??? God !! Help sony. 🙏🙏

Trump is a disgusting human being and not fit for office and never was, sadly we've continually elected people from both parties who've done nothing but serve their corporate masters while continuing to try to distract the population with silly identity wars and wedge issues and they've continued to be successful doing it, enough people finally got sick of that crap and decided to vote for a guy who said a lot of things they agreed with even if he never meant a word of it and is only interested in trying to benefit personally from his position. No matter what you think of Biden's politics I think you'd be hard pressed to say with any real conviction that he isn't a better person than Trump, Biden is still a politician but I do believe he does care about people even if he's not going to be an effective leader, I don't think Trump cares about anyone but himself and he's proven it over and over again.

If it were up to me both parties would be dissolved and people would start paying attention to each candidates position on each issues instead of just seeing if there is an R or D next to their name on a ballot and automatically voting for them. We'd also stop fighting over things like abortion etc we can't keep fighting over things for decades and expect to move forward on anything else. That's one reason I was really excited about Andrew Yang, the guy didn't villainize people on the other side he tried to go out of his way to humanize them, he wasn't interested in tearing half of the population down just to advance his own prospects he just wanted to try to fix problems and looked to the future.

My guess is that we're probably getting HFW gameplay during the Game Awards and maybe a GOW2 cinematic trailer to close it all off, we're definitely not seeing GOW2 gameplay until E3 2021.
Btw, tomorrow (well today already) the Xbox marketing campaign starts according to an Xbox marketing employee... Let's see what they have for us.
