There is James Bond in Gameboy?

Was my first GameBoy game.
It was a Nintendo game, but as you can see it didn't star a particular James Bond.

It's true, no one uses the guns when you have the machete.
M.A.R.B.L.E is such an odd item, only useful for an alt ending which isn't very good, pretty sure you kill a poor Q text subject by slamming them into a wall to get it, poor mans sacrifice was not worth it.
They would need to incorporate trading sequences into his moveset somehow.

I got the M.A.R.B.L.E. first time round. Probably should play the game again to see the normal ending.

And they would need to include Black Jack since learning how to play that was a required skill to beating it. A Nintendo game that taught casino games. Probably will never get a VC release because of that.

THAT WAS THE BEST STAGE! Dammit Beef why do you torment me, did you prefer the bland land of lasers that made up the final stage?! DID YOU?!

I just hated the stupid maze you had to go through! The rest of the game was fine, from what I remember. It's been a good few years since I've played the game.

I want to say that was part of the fun but then I remembered the cave, if you mean the cave you have to head through twice then I agree, that sucked. But anyway of all the Bond games i've played there was something about that stage that was very Bond like, okay maybe not excessive trading but everything else was, it's not just about shooting people.

I always felt that the game stumbles after the fifth stage which was in the mountains with the grappling hook, too much combat focus not enough of the adventuring.

Well I guess I know which game I'm playing again tomorrow.

It also has one of the least hand holding openings ever. If you don't realise that you can
search beds for hidden items
you're buggered.

Pokemon Blue, Yellow and Red are shit if viewed retroactively.

Oh, so James Bond GB is like Zelda except cooler. Also how come there are no non-LP vids of the game? I hate having an annoying voice while watching gameplay vids.

Yes, but they were revolutionary and very good for their time.

Four is waaaay better than three and I could see gen 5 switching places with 1 or 2 and not feel anyways about it, but this list is legit.

I'm not including remakes in that list. If FR/LG and HG/SS were added in, I'd put gen 4 over gen 3. I like RSE over DPPt, though.

I always felt (from gen 3 on) the worlds got too big and weren't filled with enough stuff. Also, the number of "cutscenes" and boring, unskippable story dialogue continues to rise as the years go on. I can look past the long cutscenes/dialogues in Black/White because the story isn't half bad (DAT ENDING), the overworld is really well done and the battle mechanics are fast. Can't say the same about gen 3 and 4.

Red and Blue are the only ones with Missingno. Therefore, Red and Blue are the best.

I still think Missingno should've become an official Pokemon.

Missingno for Smash 4.

Missingno for Smash 4.

He has the potential to become an awesome assist trophy.

Too bad Nintendo would never acknowledge his existence =(

They should make raccoon leaf an item in Smash.

Though I dunno how the Star Furries would look like with the raccoon leaf.

I will say gen IV (Diamond specifically, since we're not counting HG/SS) bored me so much I thought of dropping the series. Luckily HG and White got me back in the game.

I'm pretty casual when it comes to Pokémon so I only judge by the basic package, not how in-depth the battle mechanics go.

In other news I've found my James Bond 007 cartridge. Will play it on the SGB just like I did when I first got it (SGB was technically my first GameBoy).

I wouldn't really count G/S/C's Kanto as a full region.

People think Gen 2 had two regions? :p

It was half a region, half barren wasteland.

Okay, lets call it a half-region.

That's half a region more than Gen 3, 4 and 5 has.

Or, the best post game quest out of any mainline Pokemon by far. All leading up to a confrontation with your fucking character from the last game.

Gen 3 was such a disappointment in comparison. So many features dropped for... water and horns.

anyways, smash bros is kewl.

What's the M.A.R.B.L.E. anyway?

Gen 3 is worst of course.

And I was talking about as a whole, not Kanto only. Kanto was a barren wasteland.

And I disagree, Pt and BW had much more postgame which pretty much feels like what the Kanto part of Gen 2 was missing.

Thing that made Kanto in G/S so special wasn't just revisiting Kanto, it was the scope of everything. Like, you just beat the Elite Four and then find out that there's another 8 badges, and it feels like your quest is only just beginning. I see complaints about there not being much to do in Kanto outside of fighting the gym leaders, but I don't really see what there is to do outside of battling or capturing in the other post games either. As much as I love B/W I don't think I ever bothered trying to find all 7 of the whatevers, just didn't feel very compelling

Oh yeah this is a Smash Bros. thread

Should we go back to naming obscure characters or should we skip forward to saying that Smash Bros is/isn't competitive?

Lucario and Jigglypuff are getting dropped cause they ain't relevant
