I still don't know if Tannehill is the answer. But I'm glad he's not playing scared anymore. I want a gunslinger that is trying to win and not trying to not lose.

Still need better execution in the redzone and on the deep ball (though he's nowhere near as bad as others make him out to be, just needs better connection with wallace). But compared to his problems last year of having 0 pocket awareness, less accurate on the short ball and less prone to cleaning up his mistakes, he's having a significantly better year.

Plus, seeing Tannekill run for 30+ yards on random plays always gets a good laugh out of me.

He was a probowler before the whole incident and played great for us. I don't care about the personal stuff either, but he was a lot better at LG than we had last year or even now.

I understand why teams are very scarred to pick him up, but if you have serious guard issues, he's worth the trouble.

He would be a hall of fame in the 70s. He's dirty, rugged and stubborn. As far as natural talent, not really. He won't dominate anyone. That's part of the reason he has to rely so much on mind games against opponents. There's a reason he's a journeyman vet and he's never been offered a long term contract. He's a plug and play dude until you find a long term solution.

He's good at either run blocking out pass blocking, can't remember but he's serviceable and wouldn't be a bad pick up, even for us now we could have used him

I agree with this. He had some really good games, but I never saw him as the long term solution. Definitely a very solid patch job solution that was a probowler at his best and kinda average at his worst.
