Coming from a Cleveland Browns fan, this is a special comment

In what way does me being a fan of the Browns have to do with anything I just said about hockey?

Oh right! The Browns suck, who needs facts when my team sucks? Hilarious joke. You absolutely cut me up there. I have been absolutely decimated by your quick wit.

Bravo sir, bravo.

I'd love Teo at the bottom half of the draft, I wouldn't really want to take a Lb thats not a pass rush specialist at the top half. But what do I know

Better receivers this year than last. Some good backs too.

I mostly talking about elite talents like AJ, Trent, Luck, and Julio type guys that are hyped up to be HOF calibur talents that go in the top 10. Doesn't seem like any WR or RB will be drafted in the top 20 even.

I feel like all three (NBA, MLB, and NHL) would be better with shorter seasons.

NBA would be better with less teams in the playoffs as well.

Biggest draw for me in basketball is to see the Heat lose. I don't even have a team really.

Not a big college fan since so many players are one season and done.

I'm a mild fan of the razorbacks for football. Not really huge on them.

I dunno, it's hard to put the same emotional investment into another sports team like I do Green Bay.

Sports Hierarchy is and always will be

Football -> Soccer -> Basketball -> Hockey -----------------------------------------------------------------------> Baseball

Regular season:
Hockey = Football -> Basketball -> Baseball

Playoffs:
Hockey -> Basketball -> Baseball -> Football (determined by not being a fan very long and my team never making it to playoffs)

To play:
Baseball -> Basketball -> Hockey -> Football (based more on what doesn't hurt me as much when I play)

I can watch some of it during the post season.
I'm literally asleep by the third inning when I've attempted to watch. Just does nothing for me.

I'm enjoy hockey (wife and I are both Rangers fans) but I'm not into it at the level that I am football.

Basketball is neither her nor there for me. I can watch it but I don't actively seek it out.

Football>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>hockey>>>>>everything else for me.

Baseball is a true gentleman's sport. You plebs don't know much about that kind of behavior, so I will let you get back to your pigskin worship while I sip this tea and listen to old Mel Allen broadcasts.

SIIIIIP

Mmm, that's good tea.

The regular season is waaaaaaaaay too fucking long but you dont even like playoff basketball? Crazy talk!

Playoff basketball is great. Regular season is pointless especially when half the teams make it anyway. Baseball on the other hand zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, hockey too. Hockey seems more exciting but I could never get into it.

Bama's a couple of bad angles by Mark Barron from winning 4 in a row.

Generational talents are rare, but yeah no elite guys, happens every few years.

I feel pretty much the same way. When I was a kid, I loved the CU Buffs for football. When the Avs came to town I loved them as well. They were damn good, I still have my Super Joe jersey. I loved going to Rockies and Nuggets games, but they were either mediocre or bad.

The Broncos have always been the number 1 in my sports world though.

I'm all in Basketball (Go Hawks) once the NFL is done. Baseball I'm pretty casual watcher/listener. I actually love listening to baseball on the radio more than watching it.

NBA would be better with less teams period.

There's just not enough talent to fill a thirty team league and with no firm salary cap, the talent is all slanted extremely disproportionately towards the bigger markets, while the smaller market teams get left out in the cold. Even in this post-CBA era we're seeing the Clippers go on 18 game win streaks and the Bobcats go on 18 game losing streaks. It's the word that no one in NBA management wants to hear, but they should seriously consider...contraction.

Baseball in Detroit was phenomenal listening for decades. Not quite the same since Ernie passed away. Listening to the Wings is still great, although harder since WJR gave up on the sports business.

I agree completely. This will never happen though :/

I am going to be at as many Dynamo games as possible next season.

They are like the Packers of the MLS! lol

Catch some Astros games. They are cheap tickets and the season should be "fun".
if fun is ass whoopins!

I think you are right. The power of the star is undeniable in the NBA. It's always felt like a few good/great teams, stacked up against the rest of the league. I was hoping that Karl would be able to buck that trend with the team the Nuggets have, but it doesn't look like anything is changing. You have to have the star.

Seriously man. Stros games are really damn cheap and there are no bad seats at Minute Maid. Now that we are in the AL we get the Yankees and Red Sox in Houston every year. Wifes family may fly in for the Red Sox games.
