Detroit Lions' Matthew Stafford has sixth-best odds to win NFL MVP

Las Vegas really seems to like the Detroit Lions.

Especially Matthew Stafford.

Bovada has the Lions quarterback at 20-to-1 odds to win NFL MVP this coming season, behind just five other players in the entire league, all quarterbacks.

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning leads the way as the 3-to-1 favorite, followed by Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Andrew Luck.

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler also has 20-to-1 odds.

Stafford is coming off two consecutive disappointing seasons – he completed 58.5 percent of his passes for 4,650 yards, 29 touchdowns and 19 interceptions last season – but some expect him to rebound this season with a new coaching staff and more weapons.

Lions receiver Calvin Johnson has 25-to-1 odds, tied with Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson as the best odds for a non-QB.

Meanwhile, Eric Ebron has 12-to-1 odds to win the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Sammy Watkins, the No. 4 overall pick by the Buffalo Bills, is the 9-to-2 favorite.

He'll be in the running if he stays healthy. No doubt in my mind about that. As for actually winning it, he's in elite company.

Aaron Rodgers - Suh and the boys will prevent that
Andrew Luck - Solid chance

Either way its safe to say Stafford is in elite company according to Vegas. When will NFLGAF hop on board?

I do plan to put some money on the Lions winning a Superbowl. Around $50-$100 (will post pics) I'm just trying to find out if our local casino (Pechanga) does sports bets like that or if I have to go to Vegas.

Both do equally apply, as it is a baffling bet and also one from which you can never back out. I may just command my girlfriend to teach me how to use Paint for this very task!

By won it all I mean 8th seed upset over the Supersonics that year

Edit: Nuggets are a better franchise than the jokes that run the Rockies. Wish the Rockies had legit owners.
