Marvin Lewis, Mike Brown, NFL need to do the right thing for Vance Joseph

It’s time for Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis to step up and be heard on behalf of his defensive backs coach Vance Joseph.

Joseph is in hot demand, and not just by the Broncos. The San Francisco 49ers have offered Joseph not only their defensive coordinator position but also a title as assistant head coach. The 49ers were the team that gave Joseph his first NFL coaching job in 2005.

The Broncos want Joseph to become their defensive coordinator, which would reunite Joseph with head coach Gary Kubiak. Joseph was Kubiak’s secondary coach in Houston from 2011-13.

If the Bengals did the right thing, Joseph would have a tough decision to make. Not surprisingly given their history, the Bengals have denied Joseph to interview with the Broncos and the 49ers. And yet the Bengals are not sending out an announcement that Joseph has been promoted.

the niners being a joke of an organization doesn't mean the bears defense isn't raw fucking trash. take a gander at lord fangios defenses before he reached the niners. a few times the worst defense in the league, more often than not well below average. only one time prior to arriving in SF did he post a defense with a top 5 ppg average and that was with the panthers in the mid-90's.

so its a give and take. fangio is an awesome coordinator.... in the right system. he will NOT have the luxury in chicago to play defense as he did in san francisco. you can't "rush 4" the majority of the game with chicagos joke of a defense.... no matter how good the coordinator is, if the talent isn't there you're going to be hurting. unless you guys have an aldon smith, justin smith, patrick willis, navarro bowman, etc. walking through that door this offseason don't plan on some magical turnaround

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Mike McCarthy's season-ending press conference was postponed Wednesday after the Green Bay Packers coach learned that his brother, Joe McCarthy III, died at age 47.

McCarthy left Green Bay and flew to Pittsburgh, where Joe was a lawyer.
He is one of five children of Ellen and Joe McCarthy Jr.

According to KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh, Joe McCarthy III collapsed at a local gym Wednesday morning and was taken to UPMC Passavant hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Mike McCarthy often spoke of his close-knit family from the Greenfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
He and his siblings worked in their father's local tavern, Joe McCarthy's Bar and Grill.

Funeral arrangements were pending. The Packers said McCarthy's season-ending press conference would be rescheduled.

Really random request, but does anyone have that gif of Stan Van Gundy where he's looking up at the scoreboard and then he looks back at the court in disgust?

Been looking for it for ages. Asking in here since the NBA OT is a pathetic shell of its former self.
