Not a huge surprise, though--I've seen several analysts say he's a better CB than Milliner.

I love Gruden! He's the best.
It's (mostly) tongue-in-cheek. I'm just gonna go ahead and assume they'll do something dumb since 1) it's the Browns and 2) it's Lombardi. It'll sting less when they trade up for Tavon Austin for a future first.
I looked all over the dumb homepage on NFL.com and the blasted nogoodniks didn't have it on there anywhere.
Other players I can think of off the top of my head that Oakland took who were considered to be good, but reaches for where the Raiders selected them: Rolando McClain, Darrius Heyward-Bey.

Giants' beat writer Ralph Vacchiano, who has a pretty damn good record predicting their first round picks, has them taking Tank Carradine at #19 (that sound you hear in FutureVoid cheering). He admits though there is a ton of uncertainty this year because there is really no good indication who will still be around for the Giants at 19.

LOL good luck. Yesterday I posted an article about how terrible the Eagles have been at the draft going back to 2005. And only then because Trent Cole panned out somewhat.
Banner was in that war room and very influential. Could have been Reid's blunders but its not like Banner is without blame or credit for those disasters. Shrewd and cap smart he maybe but he has no football background.
Woods is who I want the Eagles to select if he is there at #35. Him or Elam would be ideal at that pick. Austin will be more dynamic but I feel like we have enough of the undersized speedy guys.
