That blocked FG was the end of the game for the Ravens.

I wonder if the Ravens will still stick to Boller for their long term quarterback? I don't think he has what it takes.

Indy showed some grit today and Peyton showed the patience required to win this sort of game. If he showed this kind of patience last year he would have been in the Superbowl.

what is wrong with boller? i think he has been really good the second half of the season. if baltimore gets some WR playmakers to build around him i think he will be a successful QB (and not the trent dilfer type of "success", i mean he will be a good qb).

this game isn't over yet. colts need to respond now.... with a passing td! :D

p.s. that took some balls to take the FG off the board...

Darien, save your energy next game, and don't post during the game :( It'll just make the letdown that much harder to take. Oh Ravens, Oh Stover....you break my heart. Now the jags are in. Don't worry folks! Next game is easy. It's only against the Steelers.

What was funny about the second one was that they declined the one on the other guy and accepted the second in a row on Deion.

Deion is a known Colts hater, so I have no doubt this was done on purpose.

the colts D is looking better and better....yeah, they've been playing lackluster offenses, but if I do recall, the Giants just put up 30 on the #1 D in the nfl. holding any team down to around 14 points or less is good, and the colts have been doing that very consistantly lately(except the 24 point WTF quarter against tennessee, but that was all they gave up all game)

I am the fantasy football genius of the decade. Who among you would have dared bench Peyton Manning in favour of Billy Volek, I ask? None of you. None of you.

(The fact that I played Brian Griese as my second QB is neither here nor there. He got the same number of TDs as Peyton, anyway. Um. I'm just resting Peyton for the fantasy playoffs, anyway. Besides, I benched Tom Brady and Brett Favre in favour of Billy Volek in my other fantasy league. They all laughed at me then, but who's laughing now?...)

they've been getting the sacks all year....coming into this weekend they were just 1 sack behind Philly for the most in the entire NFL

Actually it was 23 points. 7 was off of special teams. :D I think the Giants had like 300 yards on special teams against us. :lol Still, even with our injuries on defense that was disgraceful considering the team that did it on us. Anyways, that was a good showing by the Colts defense. They owned Ogden all game long. I thought Freeney was the player of the game for the Colts today. He seemingly created pressure by himself on almost every down single handedly. Anyone that can make Ogden look like some XFL reject has got to be a stud.

You will get to see what your quarterback lacks this week when you visit Heinz field.

Steelers have been looking shaky since the Jags game. Too many close games. We're relying on you to put Baltimore away. Not that we need it when we beat the Texans at home, but it's always good to have the safety net.

A win is a win. And a lot of those games have been against good teams with good defenses. Philly barely beat a shitty Dallas team today, but all that matters is that you get the W.

Still 23 points to one of the worst offenses in the league. Thanks for making Eli look not so bad! Double thanks to Ben for having a shitty game and making him look better!

You guys aren't even Steeler fans anymore, more like Steeler apologists. Not even Duce and the other Eagles fans are this bad. Do we have any Pats fans? We probably do, it just shows how good they are compared to you guys. :lol

:lol I hope you guys realize I am just fucking with you and have been all week. Cmon dudes it's the only thing I could do this week. Wouldn't want our only two Steeler apologists to kill themselves.

Ben is the NFL Messiah, any insult to him is an insult to God.

You have a sick mind Wellington, I wouldn't be surprised if you were a fan of Tom Brady.....

i just realized the TO injury means no Andy Reid in a catsuit. Maybe now Fox can finally shut the fuck up about that gay little bet between the gimp and the fatso.

Interesting stat - the Green Bay Packers are 31-1 in regular season games at Lambeau with Brett Favre at Quarterback when the temperature is below 34 degrees.

You're just the next step on our playoff run. Jags playing the season like they play their games - never put up a big lead, but come good in the dying minutes.

DarienA

The black man everyone at Activision can agree on
What I've learned this season watching the Ravens:

1. Boller isn't half bad...
2. Matt Cavanaugh MUST go...
3. We can continue to develop Clarence Moore, but we should ditch Travis Taylor.
4. Chris McAllister ain't shit... again.
5. Our defense is nowhere NEAR it was the Super Bowl year... not BAD... but nowhere near as good.
6. Our offensive coordinator and coach regularly forget to focus on our weapons(Jamal, Heap, Moore).
7. Pitt squeaks by the Giants? WTF? You beat two unbeaten teams then have trouble with a team we smacked around.... we're suppose to fear that? See ya next week.

So looking in to next year I say:
1. Keep Boller... every QB throws INT's so I'm not pressed about that, he's overall made leaps and strides since the beginning of the year... anybody who denies that is blind.
2. Can we trade McAllister? Probably not since we just signed that big ass money deal. Somebody needs to get in his ass because he's been looking incredibly NON-franchise since he came back from his injury.
3. We must get more talent at the O-line... Ogden should not be the only determing factor in how well we run.
4. Don't ask Deion to come back. Seriously, it was all cute and publicity like, but in the end it was pretty worthless.

We've got some rough gems out there that if developed we can go places... but not this year...

Alright, who wants in on the bidding for Priest Holmes. We are looking to trade for... well, anyone who's played defense at the High School level or above.

The Steelers have been playing poorly since the Jags game? They smacked the Jets around and then had one of the worst special teams games in history against the Giants (Surpassed only by the AFC championship game against the Patriots a few years back), their only bad game since Baltimore in week 2.

Also, if I hear one person talk about how classy Peyton Manning downing the ball was, I think I'm going to find that person and piss in his eyes. There's no alternative course of action.

The Ravens are exactly the wrong type of team for us to play coming into the playoffs. I swear at least 3 players on each side get injured everytime we play each other. Ogden is going to have a huge game next week to make up for last night. If we get some of our linebackers and special team players back this week we should be alright (if Ogden doesn't hurt them while he is showing everyone he is still good).

This is the time of the year when you want to play the Browns and get healthy. :(

"There at the end, I can't get over the crowd booing," Manning said. "I hope those were Baltimore fans. That's the way you're supposed to do it."

Had the Ravens used their two timeouts, Colts coach Tony Dungy said, they would've run normal plays.

Damn, I wish the Ravens would have called a timeout.

He is going to get the record anyways. It was the right thing to do. That good karma might come in handy when they face the Pats in New England.

Btw, last night they played great as a TEAM. They had guys making plays in every aspect of the game. Granted the biggest play of the game was not really caused by their special teams but but a shitty kick, but I will still give them credit for that. :D

Eminem

goddamit, Griese!
Yeah, but I wanted to see him at least tie it at home. Doing it at SD is gonna be lame by comparison.

He's been taking a nap the last two weeks....this week is thunderdome.

Damn, it looks like we might not get anyone of value back in time for Baltimore. :(

Burress is talking about maybe not playing until the playoffs! We can live with Plex, but not if our defense is as banged up as it is. Still, I would rather lose one game if it meant we could field a healthy team for the playoffs.

Injury report from Cowher's press conference today:

Out: Bell (Groin), Haggans (Groin)

Doubtful: Kriewaldt (Hammy)

Questionable: Burress (Hammy), Scott (Knee), Staley (Hammy)

Probable: Bettis (Knee), Cushing, Haynes (Knee), Polamalu (Shoulder), Ward (Hip), Okobi (Back)

With Haggans and Kriewaldt out again, Cowher better put Harrison back in on special teams, or else the return team may suffer another disasterous performance like last week.

I think Burress and Staley may practice to see if they can go this week because this is the last week I think they'll even consider them for a game. No way I see either of them playing up in Buffalo in the beginning of Jan.
