I live a block away from the cambie but I definitely do not get the appeal. It's not even an unknown dive bar or anything anymore, it's just a dive bar. I rather go to Charles Bar.

Actually best bar in this area is Guilt & Co. Actually, don't go there until you're drunk enough on beer, so you won't feel self conscious about ordering from their fantastic cocktail selection.

Here is a good bar hopping order:

Blarney Stone (Beer) > Shabeen (Whiskey) > Guilt & Co (Cocktails and giant Jenga!) > Granville Street hopping (with shots) > Realize you're not hooking up with anyone > Go to Fantacity to sing drunken karaoke with friends.

That's about where a friend of mine lives too. Actually going to head over to his place right about now. Probably will end up at the pint.

The Pint is fantastic. It's no longer as cheap as it was when it first opened, but it's still a great bar. Plus who doesn't love those pitchers?

By the way worst time to try and go to the Pint, unless you mean after the game.

Oh, best sports bar in Vancouver isn't in Vancouver. It's Shanks at the Starlight Casino. Every Superbowl, me and a bunch of buddies get seats at 11am and start drinking then. I have not been able to walk straight when going home yet.
