What does that have to do with anything? The Last of Us, and Gran Turismo 6 may be the biggest games PS3 has ever gotten and the year of a new console launch. Microsoft sticking their name on a Gears of War box does not equal support.

Gears of War is also one of the 360's biggest franchises. Sony has decided that they would rather put there biggest games this year on PS3, while MS decided to put their biggest stuff out on XB1. To say that MS just dropped the 360 is silly though.

Are you saying that releasing big games on the PS3 is a bad thing? And it's not too silly to say MS is just dropping the 360, they did it with the original Xbox. Playstation consoles have a history of getting great games even after the successor is out. The PS2 had games like God of War 2 and Persona 4 come out after the PS3 was out. Would I prefer GT6 to be a PS4 game? Of course but I'm not all that upset it isn't.

1) They didn't anticipate the need to buy out Liles to afford Franson (fuck up)
2) The buyout penalty for next season is lower for Liles (the season where this cap space would be most necessary) and in the three successive seasons the cap will be higher, and so, the penalty is less important.
