Soc: Probably depends on the connection/airline you intend to take, that'll mostly determine where to fly into. I think the price difference is more of a determining factor than the airport.
The only non-stop YVR-NYC flights are Cathay or Phillippines into JFK and AC into EWR so for LGA you'd have to connect anyway.

When you watch soccer played at a certain level with sound defenders it seems so impossible to ever score. Weird sport, it's just so much space with so many bodies and so easy for the defenders to move around versus how hard it is to get the ball around with control
Germans also hit the crossbar like 3 times in the first half. Rough.
