The how is important here. The OG KFC was more of a pan fried recipe than a deep fry and dependent on the heat to get it right. The actual Colonel was a very eccentric dude so to sell his chicken he would go into restaurant kitchens and make it right there with ingredients in the pantry. It looks like it could legit.

I actually thought that I was just unlucky that the two Popeyes locations that I go to happens to have slow service, guess it's actually more widespread. I actually haven't been in ages, both for attempts at eating healthier and because it takes up a lot of time.
