apparently Montreal based analytics dude Arik Parnass was hired by the Avalanche

I've read some of his work btw, he's very good. Should do some nice things in Colorado.
He's done a lot of work for the Habs blog EOTP and I've been following him for about a year now, great hire by the Avs, he comes across as very sharp.

I had to unfollow him last year because his IMFC takes were driving me nuts :lol

mostly I was just salty about TFC's unceremonious exit at their hands

remember how Giovinco got into a bit of a kerfuffle with IMFC fans on his way to the bus after the game

good times

There was this weird trend, Roy was being phased out of decision making and seemingly good moves were made. This pattern continues.

As someone who has not worked full time in a year and a half, this thread is infuriating.

I wish I was like Schuey and only read the OP. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=216901122&postcount=206

OP of thread said:
Coming back to this thread has made me realize how many sad unemployed people circle jerk each other here on Gaf. You guys have the time to going through my post history, but not enough time to look for work? Explains a lot why youre failing at life. Hell yes I'm voting for Trump and hopefully it eats away at all the welfare queens on here.

What's even more sad are the mods on here though. I ain't even mad about the tag, but to ban, ostracize, and ignore rules just because people have differences of opinion is completely counterintuitive to discussion. This place has literally grown into the biggest shit hole on the internet. Now go on and perma ban me because I don't "fit in" hahahaha

Do you ever wonder if after a hard day of digging through the ditches and burning the witches, Zombie just wants to chill with a nice iced tea and put his feet up?

Should I Czech it out???

ugh Spring has started and all it's done is fuckin' rain and be overcast. It makes me miss Vancouver.

"just because people have differences of opinion"

Yeah that fuckin' says it all. Anyone who is like "I CAN'T BE OSTRACIZED FOR MY SHITTY OPINION! I HAVE A RIGHT TO IT!" fail to realise it doesn't make them immune from repercussions.

Reads like a Tabris thread.

I'm a socialist. I would prefer to be taxed at rates like Sweden then US or Canada's rates. Income should be redistributed responsibly and appropriately. And it's not like it's a selfless thing, I'm considering what it would be like if I was or I become less fortunate, as well when you empower the lower income brackets, you create a much higher velocity of money then the higher income brackets can provide as they spend more back per percentage of their income into the economy, which makes it better for everyone.

I think you completely missed the point, he said it because of the OP's ignorant and disgustingly arrogant attitude, not because of your opinion, which nobody cares about btw.

Actually there's a decent amount of posts on this forum asking "I wonder what Tabris will say" to threads. So some people care to hear :)

And further to my point, since some people care about my opinions - Basic income for all is what we as a society should be aspiring to. It's the perfect blend of socialism and capitalism. I can still have my once in a blue moon opulent vacations in Dubai because I'll be working (*knock on wood*) but for those that cannot find work as there's not enough employment opportunities (which will happen with globalization and automation) or they want to pursue other things such as free education - income tax redistribution will allow them to have a decent quality of life.
