Socialism is the belief that the government should own part, or all, means of production in society. I'm on the edge between a Democratic Socialist and Market Socialist where I believe that the government should control some aspects of the production in society, especially social goods, but believe it's best for other aspects of production to be left to the free market to induce greater production and innovation via capitalism greed and ambition.
As for all the insults, maybe you should have read some book on controlling anger, maybe some kind of deep breathing yoga exercises, then Karl Marx.
