From what I hear she's pretty good. What version are you playing?
XB1

She kind of falls in a weird place. Not as good of a healer as Mercy, doesn't have Lucio's mobility, doesn't have Zen's damage. Her "anti-heal" grenade is pretty cool and her ult can be good when combo'd properly but other than that there isn't much going for her.

She's not terrible she's just not easy to use. She is the antithesis of design to Mercy and Lucio.
Guess that makes sense, I tried her out but I'm a terrible healer, and there seemed to be a steep learning curve. Just hoping these new heros don't become a waste. Blizzard finally implementing a 1 hero per team rule is a god send though.

Fuck me I spent like 3 hours today trying to figure out a report. There's like 15 DB's for different environment, I can't be sure what DB is for what, no documentation, and I'm not good at this Crystal Report shit on the best of days. This isn't even my job!

Fucking old guy retired after supporting this sprawling, old-ass cobbled together mishmash of programs for the last 15 years and, before he fucked off to the cottage permanently, half assed some cryptic quick reference guides that would only be helpful if you already knew everything. They can not fill this bullshit position fast enough.

Step 2 in this fucking support doc about how to generate the yearly gov't reports is "Generate the requested report through Citrix, then export"... oh thanks dude super fucking helpful.

lol I feel this.

I got my current job via taking over someone else. I had two days to learn the specifics of the job before he left and he taught me seemingly the basics. No big deal.

On my first official day at this position, I had to write up something and it hit me that he never really showed me the computer and how it's organized. It's in some semblance of order on the surface, which had everything I needed for the day. I started digging through every folder in the computer to find that he just saved everything anywhere that seemed close enough to where it should be.

Then there was this giant stack of files on my desk with no note as to why they're there for. I eventually had to call the guy and ask him what the hell the files were for, and he said that they're just files and he didn't know where to put them. There's file cabinets right outside the office specifically for them. I spent a small chunk of the day just organizing and putting it all inside the file cabinets.

It took me about a month to get everything organized. Even today I'm finding surprises.

Haven't played Overwatch in a month, then I see the new character is released so I try it out again last night, and literally only saw 1 person using her in about 2 hours of play. Is she really that terrible?

I like her, will probably be on rotation for me with Tracer, Genji and Hanzo.

Bought a used white GCN controller off it, was mint. Seller even threw in some green tea!

I have Extreme Vs. Full Boost and haven't even touched it yet :(

On Atlus: man, they were so much better on the PS2.
Hey fuck that shit, no one's been that nice to me before

Fuck japanese third party sellers

Got into talking about the salary cap with some buddies and I told them my general rule of thumb (very general) is 1 million dollars for every ten points a player produces.

Get paid 4 million? Player should hit 40 points. 5.5? Should hit 55 points.

Obviously this gets tinkered with when it comes to forwards who are defensive specialists. Parise, for example, is good for about 65 points but has a 7.54 cap hit. I feel like his defensive game/grit/whatever is good enough to substitute for that additional ~$1m he gets.

What do you guys think of something like this? There are obviously outliers and overpaid players and this and that, but for the most part I think it works.

It's why, in my view, if Eric Staal (3.5m) gets more than 35 points he is on a good contract. Fairly simple.

Did you guys have this conversation before or after you sacrificed a goat?

Not only is Columbus in cap trouble, but they're also in a poor position for the expansion draft.

They have to protect Dubinsky, Clarkson, Foligno, and Hartnell because of NMC's. They'll protect Saad no question.

That leaves 2 spots for these players: Jenner, Atkinson, Calvert, and Wennberg.

On defence, they're definitely protecting Jones and Murray. Their last spot goes to Johnson or Savard.

They have to protect Bobrovsky because of his NMC.

On a more positive note, depending on who gets picked they could get some cap relief.

I bought Tales Of R so I had a JRPG to play during graveyard shift.

It's really bad and generic though.

Pokémon update: I'm dead inside and crave the sweet release of death
Pokemon Go in australia has got to be crazy dangerous.

"FUCK YES THERES A WARTORTLE NEARBY"

Wartortle is actually a 7 foot tall spider that spits acid, smokes lucky strikes, and drives a camaro.

So, uh... when is Marvie's actual birthday?
......when isnt it?

They'll definitely protect Wennberg and Jenner. Atkinson seems the most likely candidate to be traded before then. So the prime candidates are Atkinson(if he stays), Wild Bill, and Jack Johnson(I think they protect Savard). And then they pray LV doesn't take Korpisalo or Forsberg.

Another wrinkle is there's rampant speculation about Clarkman's back and if he'll go on LTIR. They'll try to get him to waive his NMC and I don't think he'd refuse.

Saw Ghostbusters this afternoon. Thought it was fine and not deserving of the insane hate it got, but that's the internet I guess.

Also happy birthday Marvie!

Either of those are fine. Orca fuckin sucks. Get rid of the damn wording too.

Agree. Honestly, the stick in rink or flying skate is really the only attempts at an identity that have stuck for the Canucks.

And for the love of god, keep Johnny Canuck as an alternate logo, where he belongs. That logo is fucking cringe worthy.

Maybe contracts under a certain dollar amount could be terminated like that. Otherwise I think it'd be very strange because the CBA prevents renegotiation. Why not mutually terminate and just sign a new one then?

I might look it up later if I get bored enough lol

I saw it on the weekend. Perfectly cromulent movie, few big laughs, didn't overstay it's welcome... good times. A total 7.5 out of 10 summer movie, maybe an 8.

Not sure if it's really just the way I've had it cooked. I've had it boiled and cooked on a pan.

I just gag whenever I eat it.

I just assumed it's how it was cooked and there has to be a better way to make it taste better.

I don't know how to describe the taste, but it just tastes disgusting to me. I guess it's bitter.

This from a former Habs scout, and a good friend of Timmins with a lot of ties to the Habs organization

I was told by an NHL source last week that PK Subban was late for practice on 18 occasions as a Hab.That's about 16 times too many.

Doesn't validate the move in any way, but if true it's easy to see how people would grow tire of it. I normally wouldn't believe any shit like this, but this guy is pretty legitimate, still surprises me. Subban doesn't seem like that kind of guy.
