Given our privacy media laws, I'm not entirely sure this would qualify as being 'in the public interest' to permit them to publish this.

We've seen certain celebrities before take papers to court and win for publishing private information that was deemed unfit to publish due it not being 'in the public interest' with the individuals having a 'reasonable expectation of privacy'.

I hope he sues.

The Sun newspaper has told PinkNews it has removed a story in which it outed a nurse as an ex gay porn star.

There was outrage after the paper published the article as an ”exclusive" on its website, needlessly outing the newly qualified nurse.

A spokesperson for The Sun told PinkNews: ”I can confirm we've removed the article"


A number of readers raised concerns and we've listened to those concerns and removed the article."
