Edit: Steam too.

Going to wait a day or so and see if it pops up for cheaper on keys shops, but I'm buying regardless.

Well shit, just as I think about Ninja Gaiden because of Phantom Blade Zero, now this trailer hits! Exciting times and can't wait for the PC/Switch version!

looks close with all the gore, yet you see bosses from sigma 2 all over not to mention the female characters.

NG2 is a broken game with ridiculous difficulty, I doubt they would really go back in game play department, because it will be less appealing in mass market.
There's no reason not to include all extra content from sigma since they said this is the definitive version of the game, but that doesn't mean it plays like sigma.

Also there was nothing overly difficult about NG2, on land ultimate techniques made almost every encounter a walk in the park.

Sooooo... since I've only ever played NES trilogy, thanks to god damn this and that exclusives..
How is this 'modern' series story wise, is it all related? I was eyeing NINJA GAIDEN: Master Collection some time ago but didn't get it yet. Now with the NG4 coming I'll definitely need to play these, but not sure whether these are good at all or just simply not the best way to experience it.

I'm downloading now, I'll tell you if it's the case.

I truly hope I'm wrong too :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Nice! I wonder how this one runs on Steam Deck. I'm assuming badly since it's UE5 but this would be awesome on the go! Can't buy it today but will grab this in the near future. What a great shadow drop!

HOLY SHIIIIT

I don't know about NG4 because of the new character (not liking the design imo, both art and gameplay wise), but this NG2B is so incredible !!!

How incompetent do you have to be to announce a game, then not upload it on Xbox/PC Gamepass but it's out on your competitors platform?!?!?!?!?

I think you play as both Ryu and the new guy, different playstyles too. Looks cool.

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. It would just further add to my argument that we need a Capcom-style full collection entry, with offerings equal to this:

That way people can choose which version of each game they want to try out.

Yeah but the environments look sterile as fuck...
I'm only interested in Ryu's campaign tbh, from what we have seen it's the real Ninja Gaiden here.

It has the difficult curve of the 360 version, gore and violence restored and the weapon upgrade system is closer to the 360 version.
There are more differences mechanically and structurally than that between the versions. If the bow has infinite ammo and auto aim and the statue appears in the first level it is still the lesser version.
