They were hard? I wasn't very good player as a kid, but I finished all of them many times, and never considered them hard.Count me the fuck in! It better live up to the hard as dick difficulty of the original 3 NES games.
The Messenger 2
Well the good news is they contracted a totally different developer so it's really just additive. If a 3D game is coming, it's from someone else entirely.Listen, i'm excited about this and i'm gonna grab it Day1 but i'd have preferred way more NG4/a 3D one since - at this point - they're more iconic (and actually better games) than the 2D ones of yore - i double dare anyone trying the NES ones in 2024, they're an exercise in frustration due to bad controls and cheap, unfair enemy placement/level hazards.
Then again, this seems more like a Shinobi game gameplay-wise compared to the NGs of old.
Maybe they're (still) trying to gauge the interest people have with this franchise (hence the safer, cheaper game) and maybe, if this sells well they'll go full ahead with a 3D one ?
My sentiments exactly. I also wish they’d hand them an opportunity at Castlevania.I love it. Great show opener, perfect studio for the job, so unexpected this soon after Blasphemous 2. IN!
Dotemu + The game kitchen = obvious win imo.Wait, from the Blasphemous Chads?
Good news is coming for you too:This looks better than the new Shinobi coming out and back in the day I was more of a Shinobi fan over Ninja Gaiden.
I got a stockpile of controllers ready for when i break them due to frustration .
