Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound - out July 31

Seeing this thread, prompted me to finally invest in a Xbox controller adapter for the PC so I could check out the demo for this on Steam, (bit awkward when trying to play it via keyboard)

I'm confused. Why do you need an adapter? Unless you mean the original Xbox controller which doesn't have a USB cord?

Because you can just plug and play Xbox 360 and later controllers.

Series X controller to use on PC, I tried two different USB ports and all it did was charge the controller, so I decided to get the adapter

I too was confused by the adapter thing. Just assumed he meant a wireless adapter for convenience.

Sounds like your cable might not be capable of transferring data. Either by design (a charging only cable) or the data pins could be damaged/faulty.

Wut. They games aren't even comparable.

The thread title says July 21. Got excited for a second.

The second half of 2025 is stacked with AA bangers.

Shadow Labyrinth
Ninja Gaiden
Shinobi
Marvel Cosmic Invasion
Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree

You can usually just downloaded a program to detect inputs or troubleshoot. Things like software sometimes has to be downloaded with it, or turning off steam input can fix it.

You do you though.

Tried the demo on Steam and it was awesome. Pre-ordered the physical Switch copy but if the performance isn't up to snuff I'll probably double dip on Steam version. But Game Kitchen did solid work on Blasphemous 1 & 2 on Switch so I don't doubt them releasing a stellar Switch version.

I ended up getting the adapter, after some initial issues at first it soon enough synced up, never have I ever had the need to play controller based games on the PC...(it's mainly point and click games I use the PC for..) but anyway, glad I got to check out the NG demo....definitely on my radar, (I don't usually consider Ninja Gaiden games, but this one maybe an exception.)

Man, I messed up my schedule and was all psyched to download this today...

Just 10 more days until, at last, a new 2D Ninja Gaiden :messenger_bicep:
