Is that the JRPG where you visit different eras like stone age, wild est or future? If yes, I'm looking forward to never getting it in EU.

Yep!

The closest we will get in the west is that some music from the game made it into Curtain Call as DLC.

Interesting as Wii U seemed to be one of the platforms Sierra was skipping initially. Hope this means we also see Geometry Wars 3 eventually.

I'd be happy just getting SE's english releases on western VC. I really need Secret of Mana off-tv. :(

Give me the Final Fantasy games, Dragon Quest games, and Chrono Trigger, and I would be happy.

I know, we've been down this path many times before, and it's not going to happen =(

Just wait until the SE GBA/DS games start rolling in. So unfair. ;__;

Looks like Roving Rogue is coming July 2nd go Europe. Looks pretty interesting, game takes place right after your characters beat the final boss and have to escape a lair that's filling with lava. Has 4 player multi and sorta looks like Runbow meets 1001 Spikes.

Now Wii U has DS, which CT would you want?

I actually haven't played any DS games on WiiU yet to know how I feel about them.

I'd be fine with either.
DS one is more "feature-full," for better or worse.
And I'd guess they could charge more for the DS one, so that's probably the one we would see.

You really should be playing this.
Some fun and satisfying platforming sections as you advance past the first world.

Ah. The infamous July 3rd eShop release party! 6 indie games + 1 VC was released. 2 were big indies, Guacamelee & Armillo. VC was Mario Tennis: Power Tour (GBA). Heck. My own game was among that list!

Can't believe it's almost been a year since my game released. Still crazy to think I actually have a game released on a Nintendo system. Gives me pride to know people play it and that they seem to like it (well, this more from the latest patch that people are really responding too).

As a joke, I was tempted to release the EU version on July 2nd as a somewhat dumb reference to last year. :lol Won't likely be out till Aug though.

I just bought it on Steam. It was so bad I asked for a refund. It's a 2 hour game with no challenge, no creativity, and no replay value.

That bad, eh? Sorry to hear it.

What have you been particularly enjoying of late, rjc? :)

That question goes for all of you!

I've been on a first person puzzle platformer kick lately on Steam, with Tri: Friendship & Madness and Q-beh: The Atlas Cube. Haven't been doing much gaming on Nintendo systems lately, but that'll change next week with the release of 3D Gunstar Heroes!.

I'm worried about the dog in Never Alone. Not sure I'll be up for playing it

You mean the fox? Even then I know your worries and fully understand them.

Oh as for your latest question, I been playing the let's figure out MissileTrick's game budget for the rest of the year. E3 week always does that to me but once I'll figure most of that out it be back to Splatoon/Smash until something I want comes out .

I've been trying to play more Wii U Indies lately. So many in my backlog!

Also working on a new game too! First medium-big game from me. Super fun!

GBA emulation on the Wii U is soo much better than the rest.

It's no wonder of the VC games I've really sunk time into have all been mostly GBA stuff since it's so much better than especially the NES and even the SNES.

Just finished Shantae Risky's Revenge :). I've been playing Mighty Switch Force, Pokemon X, Pushmo & Splatoon as well as a ton of games in my backlog that I'm part way through.

My Wii U got little use in the last weeks even if I'd like to play Splatoon. If only Blizzard brought Hearthstone over everything would change...

I plan to pick Paper Mario up when Gunstar Heroes hits the 3DS. How dark is the N64 emulation on the Gamepad?

I thought Mario 64 looked great but Paper Mario looks dark for sure. It's not NES bad though if that's what you're wondering.

I really wish Nintendo would've just handed Wii U VC over to M2 wholesale. GBA is head and shoulders above everything else, although I'm still okay with SNES and DS visually.

I am currently playing Paper Mario 64 on the Wii U VC. It feels really dark at first, but your eyes adjust and you will no longer notice it after playing for a while. No reason not to play it anyway.

Also playing lots of Splatoon. This game is so hard to let go off once you start a session.

And I have Wooly World pre-ordered and look forward to use all the amiibos to colour Yoshis like no tomorrow.

Paper Mario 64 was actually abnormally dark to begin with. People who have ripped the assets have found that the colors are weirdly dark in general.

A little later than usual, I hadn't enough time between E3, new PC and other matters, but here is, the summary of the week's releases.

I'm always surprised that Knytt Underground doesn't seem to get much attention when it goes on sale. Very good game, yet every sale I noticed from it doesn't seem to do much for it. At least from what I noticed.

I remember buying it one time it was super cheap...and I'm pretty sure I've yet to launch it. Or if I did it was only to clear an update out of the download manager.

That's a shame. Really really good physics based puzzle-platformer with great story.

I really recommend it!

Right now my schedule is:

EB:Beginnings, almost done with this.
FF V Fiesta is starting in hours, that'll be in the mix for two whole months.
Splatoon, bunch of stuff I need to finish in SSB.
Was thinking about finishing up Devil Survivor:Overclocked 1.
SK 2 is in the next eight weeks.
Got a ton to do in MH4U
Portable wise I'm also in the middle of the two MM Xtreme games.
Also hot damn, nearly forgot about Friends of Mineral Town.
Oh, and Rune Factory 4 has been giving me looks.
I'm in the middle of an egg move dex with a friend in Pokémon.
and...the few hundred bucks I spent on Wii U/3DS games last year to celebrate the end of the DDP...including this one.

It's in the mix though. It's very likely that I don't buy any more consoles this generation and just live off of these games.
