Woah Dave wouldn't be worth playing if it were a free flash game, and Moon Chronicles is really barebones unless you buy the DLC. Everything else ranges from decent to great.

There are no duds in this bundle.

Stealth Inc 2 is absolute top-tier quality, The Fall and OlliOlli won a ton of awards, Woah Dave is a neat little Mario Bros.-style game, Moon Chronicles Ep 1 is a neat sci-fi FPS, MSF is a cool action platformer.

Thanks folks!

Btw, what titles does Nicalis have on the eShop?

Apparently their titles are 50% off on the eShop for a limited time.

For Nintendo 3DS: VVVVVV, Cave Story, Ikachan, NightSky, 1001 Spikes, Grinsia
For Wii U: 1001 Spikes

highest recommendations for VVVVVV and Cave Story. Ikachan is very short but the discount should help with that, 1001 Spikes just got a patch that introduced new bugs, Grinsia I know basically nothing about and NightSky is a neat little relaxing physics puzzler with great music.

Ikachan for $2.50 is...............okay. It feels like a semi-prototype version of Cave Story, as you can beat it in about an hour & there's very little replay value or exploration.

I think it would've made for a better unlockable for beating Cave Story or something. $5 is just waaaaaay over priced for it. $2ish is a bit better, I guess.

So I already own and have played through the two good games that are on discount (Cave Story and VVVVVV). Oh well, I've bought way too many games recently anyways between Steam & the humble bundle :).

Rival Turf coming to Wii U VC tomorrow. It is best remembered for this:

I don't suppose this sale applies to PAL-land, does it?

Remember, both versions of 1001 Spikes are buggy as all get-out, not that the versions on other platforms are bug-free or anything.

Did they ever fix Grinsia? I know they patched it but I don't think it made the game a whole lot better.

Woah Dave wouldn't be worth playing if it were a free flash game

Didn't they just update it with a lot of extra content?

Half those games aren't even out in PAL land and Nicalis doesn't give half a shit about the PAL region anyway. (Yes, I'm bitter)

Indeed they did. Deluxe Edition.

Woah Dave! Deluxe features two new levels, a host of new characters, boss battles, fresh enemy types, UFOs you can ride, a "classic" mode which returns everything to how it was in the standard Woah Dave! release and some additional hidden content.

The new characters include Adoma (Destructamundo), Jr. Melchkin (BIT.TRIP), CommandgirlVideo (BIT.TRIP), Mr. Robotube (Robotube), BlokTom (Bloktonik) and a new secret character that is yet to be revealed.

Apparently so, but it felt mostly the same as the regular mode to me. My problem with it is that the core mechanic just isn't that fun, plus it's way too easy to die if you let up for even just a little bit.

Awaiting you in-game will be a huge 3D world with hidden riches to discover while travelling around in your customisable Bone Buggy vehicle. Track down precious fossils, excavate them, before watching them revive into Vivosaurs. High Strangeness (Midnight City)
Wii U (Download)
Nintendo eShop from 28/05/2015
€9.99 / £8.99 / CHF 14.00

Game Description: High Strangeness is a hybrid of 8 and 16 bit games - a 12 bit adventure. The inspiration of the game comes from many Action-Adventure and RPG games of yesteryear. The game's core ability is to switch between 8 and 16 bit worlds and the player uses their generational differences to solve puzzles and explore the universe. Throughout the game your pixel art perspective of the world will be infused with visions of watercolour illustrations that shed some light on your mysterious surroundings. The chiptune soundtrack by Dino Lionetti and Rich Vreeland backs up the aesthetic of the world and sets the mood for strange happenings.

SDK Paint Demo (HULLBREACH STUDIOS)
Wii U (Demo)
Nintendo eShop from 28/05/2015
Free

Game Description: SDK Paint takes a unique approach to Wii U artwork creation, by stacking five layers onto the artwork canvas. Each layer can independently be utilized to create the next masterpiece. By combining the artistic modes (Normal Paint, Noisy Paint, Smudge, and Spraycan), the numerous filters (Blur, Negate, Lighten, Darken, etc.), the shaders (Pattern Fill, Flood Fill, Texture, etc.), and the tools (Gridlines, Stencils, Drag, Swap, etc.), the possibilities of what the stylus can paint onto the canvas are endless. Don’t worry if you make a mistake, ten levels of Undo will help with that! If the artwork needs fine precision then just zoom the canvas. A large colour palette, with dragging support, lets artists easily choose exactly the colour desired, and a Dropper tool makes identifying previous colours a simple task. The features don't end with just painting, either. How does the artwork look on a wall? Explore the retro 3D Galleries to see all 18 paintings framed on the walls. Is the artwork ready show off? Jump into the Sharing area and prepare it for either 2D or anaglyph 3D (special glasses required**) posting of screenshots to Miiverse™. Show the world your inner artist.

Psh! I wish! I'd have bought it way back when had I known they were going to delist it. :/

But the superior version is already there

I like SubWars, but I've got a soft spot for the original. I was always intrigued by it even when it was just a Tech Demo for the original DS.

Edit:

They're releasing Zero 3, but not Zero 4? I hope I don't have to wait for next May... ;_;

Psh! I wish! I'd have bought it way back when had I known they were going to delist it. :/

No kidding! What the hell is the deal with this? WHY is it delisted? It's a first party game for crying out loud. I've tried to be Nintendo's ideal consumer, buying all my games digitally because I like having them that way, but why won't they let me buy this one?

Woah, 3 VC games this week (4 if you count the 2 BN versions separately). It's too bad that this tends not to happen outside of these promotions.

Ooooh, Mighty Switch Force theme? I'll have to check that out. Wonder if one will be made for MSF2.

Not that it's a big deal, but it seems rather arbitrary and a little silly to hold off releasing the Splatoon 3DS Theme until tomorrow.

Really looking forward to diving into the game at midnight.

Aside from the current bug, how is 1001 Spikes? Not much for me to take advantage of in the Nicalis sale, already have two copies of Cave Story (Wii Ware and PSP homebrew version) and got VVVVVV and Ikachan in the last sale. Weird that they still haven't ported Cave Story to Wii U.

When is Outrun 3D coming to the Australian eShop? :(

That's weird Sega is holding out on AU, 3D series are top shelf, feel bad for you guys. Next time I play a round of Fantasy Zone I'll think of the land down under. :)
