They have reported hardware sales, not "home console" sales, and so yes, they have counted all dedicated hardware sold in that number.

There is nothing that the competitor fanboys can say and yes, we all know this includes all of Nintendo hardware from home consoles, portables consoles, and hybrid consoles. All hardware brings the total up to this high amount. So please don't say "well what about just Home consoles".

Trust me, I understand your point very well, but those two consoles were apart of the first and second generation of video gaming. If I'm not mistaken, none of the consoles from the first generation or second generation are actually interchangeable game software systems. But when we look at the history of gaming, I don't think we should discount the systems from the first and second generation. This is why I think we should really include the Color TV Game Brand into the mix. It just makes sense. Plus it'll give gamers worldwide more insight into the overall history of Nintendo. Nintendo console Journey did not really start with the 8-bit NES. It started with the Color TV Game console brand.
