To be quite honest I have no idea what the board actually does. There are so many levels of abstraction that I don't think the board matters when it comes to creating software for demographics.

He is pretty much saying that a bunch of females work with reggie. Which is true if you ever watch any of the videos.

Might be because Cheese is on Twitter but I'd maybe there was something more to it than just "because females exist." Yes it's a standard reason but... IDK, highlight that part that Kimishima did, that there are more females in game development. Or highlight the importance of that part of the market.

A large portion of the 3DS titles demo'd this year at E3 were very much in line with nintendo's gender neutral products: RHM, Ever Oasis, etc.
HoweverI am not sure on dragon quest. I want to say I heard a report that it does better with females, but I am not certain.
EDIT: I do not mean to be negative in this regard. An all-male board is worrying, for sure. But this seems more a byproduct of Nintendo's patented slowness, and there does not appear to be any immediately alarming effects regarding gender representation of their products.

Ha that's fair enough. They're basically the highest-ups in the company and work together to decide the companty's direction, and are effectively the CEO's boss (who may also be part of the board, such as in this case)

Actually the Brexit question is kinda important as far as shareholders are concerned. But it's still too soon.
It was never dead, they just put it down on "low priority" and don't have a way to build a market from the line of products.
...They also need to get their console gaming back on track first and foremost lol.

It was never dead. The first product took too long to reach the market and was a set back - but they have a few products being researched.
