I've bought the game, never really looked much into it beforehand. It is fantastic. I have had a good time. Definitely worth the $60.00 to me. I am glad I did not go into that toxic "review impressions thread" before I played the game. Seems to have a metric ton of people who have not played the game self-admittedly. I just want one thing though. To be able to save the systems I visited, so I could go back at any time to the awesome planets I found.
I still hear them even in isolated planets without life, so either a glitch or it's supposed to be something not alive.
as far as i know you are stuck with it until you do it, i believe it leads into some story im not sure as i have yet to even use my hyper drive or go to a station.

Boost jump is literally the only thing that makes traversal on foot tolerable. Actually, yeah kind of fun even.
I maxed out mine(48 slots) and still haven't left my solar system yet. It is an absolute GODSEND!
Also, is Partner the highest rank/relationship you can be with your alien buddy race? Cause I've been stuck on partner for the longest time now.

Barely two days past the PS4 release never mind the PC release launching tomorrow and we are already 120 posts into the first OT.

That's cause this one, especially this one feels for us explorers. It is and will be 100% lead and driven by the community. No amount of review(s) will slow this baby down.
How? I'm stuck with a 5 slot POS. I found several exosuit slot upgrades but never any for multitool.

I thought you had to wait for the heat bar to drop all the way down, but as long as you don't trigger the overheated message, you can let the bar drop for a second, and then if you start firing your laser it drops the bar down to 0% and goes from there, not from where the bar was just at.

This is obviously not intended as there are also upgrades that decrease cool down times of the laser. I'm sure it will get patched eventually.
Same, the movement speed is too slow. Sean seems like the type of guy that will allow this and not take it out.

interface but if I learned any new words then I didn't get a text notification for them.
Didn't work for me. Some of them had words, but most didn't do anything when I walked over them.

Those seem to start at around the lower mark of 2 million and can go up to over 20 million maybe even higher. I don't actually know what the ship slot limit is but I'd imagine 20 million is approaching it.

I've only just realized that I've been playing this pretty much non-stop with bathroom breaks from 11am to now 1:30am and I completely forgot to eat something today.
This fucking game is terrible for me as I have such an addictive nature. Boy if they ever made a Mass Effect MMO I would quit my job and never go outside again.

I have only tried it in one station, but it seemed to work for me. I will try it again in the next station.
They are right. Not all of them give you words. Obviously worth it to walk over all of them anyways.

So I'm finding this Exotic element now called Murrine (Mu).
Anyone else run into it yet?
It only yields 4-5 per destruction. Meaning I have to actually destroy the whole plant before it yields anything. And Using the grenade is the best way to harvest them because the regular mining tool is very slow for it. I have only found it on a specific plant so far, no rocks.

They do look great but I'm a bit concerned about the slots. I've not even found one for more than a million.
Edited for possible spoilers. I finally went to the planet above my favorite moon in the game so far.
Then I went to the space station and found the parts I need for my warp drive. Back to my favorite planet for the minerals!
Also found out that the traders on space station frequently have different starred items, May dabble for some profit later.
Not quite as hospitable. Freezing and burning at the same time is a thing I guess.

My money is on them pushing it hard against deadline and wrapping build only when absolutely necessary so they have time to upload to Steam. Basically barely getting PC version done in time for Friday release.
