I kept my expectations in check for this game. Being on vacation at the moment and reading about the game here makes me wanna fly home and play it.

Might create an great journey.
 
Damn, i thought this was launching on the 9th in Europe too. Tempted to cancel pre-order and go digital so i can play a few hours when it unlocks on wednesday morning.
 
Even tho i'm in the UK, no way was i going to wait another 19 hours for NMS to unlock so had to grab it on my Canadian acc!

Now, do i set the alarm for 5am and join the party or roll out of bed and be 90 minutes behind everyone else? :D

They are shipping their copies today first class so the game should be getting to you for tomorrow.

Saw they also mentioned on Twitter that they have sold out of the pre-order allocation, hopefully that means the game is going to do really well for Hello Games.

Especially when they have stopped taking orders because they've sold their allocation (even though they haven't actually got there allocation yet!)
 
Hyped....been hyped since the first VGAs glimpse....the game I've always wanted....

...and now I'll be 600 miles away from my PS4 thanks to work with no chance of playing it until Thursday at the earliest if everything goes my way....

People are struggling to wait until Tuesday release, making it seem like huge and painful thing. Yet here I sit and wait for Friday :(

Yeah I'm double dipping for this, partly so that me and my GF can play simultaneously on two different machines, but especially because the PC version is expected to be pretty moddable. I'm certain there'll be a VR mod for the game within a week. Can't wait for that. It will be mindblowing.

Hit me up on Steam btw, PM me your ID. Also I don't think the game is very demanding on PC.

Haha yeah. The sky is literally the fucking limit with this game. It's clear just how much control they have over the universe and how much they can improve moving forward.

I played about 6 hours over the weekend and it was brilliant... Imagine what it will be like in 5 years time with all the updates and patches...

Thats their standard message before they ship games out, it might change to something like 'being processed' but that will just be while they are shipping them out so there shouldn't be any need to worry.

TGC have always been great for getting games out early for me, better than any other site i have used. They are also great with responding to people on Twitter which is always appreciated.

Already the day one patch seems to add and improve soooo SOOOO much, that it almost feels like a "sequel" without even having released yet.

I can't wait for this. Tomorrow is the day I'll be able to play this thing and I just can't wait.

I know people with get mad at this but its simply an impressions question.
Is it because "I dont wanna do all that stuff over again" or "I dont want to spoil anything more until I can play it on proper save?"

I also went with them for this reason, it's costing me £48 in the end which is pretty damn good. I think their shipping notification basically means it's packed and sat on a pile ready to go out.
 
Preloaded and waiting... day 1 patch notes sounds amazing. Cant wait, so hyped (and after spoiling myself a little bit, for good reason) and have from wednesday until monday off :D

I don't want to do it again. It'll annoy me collecting all this stuff only to have to wipe it and start again.

gun upgrades and a new ship
and now I'm gonna a lose them :(
 
Just finished pre-loading, 18 hours and 45 mins left. I almost feel like im dreaming. Too bad i cant seem to actually fall asleep...

Cheers, I did suspect that they may be saying awaiting stock just so they aren't under pressure to do a simply games and send it out way ahead of time.
 
I asked in the last thread but never got a reply -

Does anyone know if BestBuy will be getting the LE in-store Tuesday morning?

I preordered the regular edition from them for store pickup since online the LE was sold out online but if each store is gonna get a shipment of LEs then I'm waiting the fuck in line babyyyyyyyyyy

Edit: Now online it says "Coming Soon" for both shipping and store pickup so I'm really hoping that they're gonna get another shipment. I know the Super Omega PC Edition is a limited numbered run but I'm hoping the normal LE has a much larger production run.

Plus there is the spoiler regarding the
story paths you can choose to take at the start of the game
that will be added in with the update
 
I'll be honest, I didn't really care much about this game till yesterday. The shooting mechanics looked horribly boring and rail-shooter like. Everything seems so slow in the videos and unexciting. However, have read some of the patch notes (especially combat ones), and seeing the comparison of one planet to the Daggerfall map (lol!) I'm pretty excited all of a sudden.

I'm really hoping there's a journey reference or two in the desert storm planets. This game feels like Journey - Space Edition in a way to me, so if a giant rock snake pops out of a sandstorm I'll be splooshing.

All they said is it will be released with the game, so 10th. I was really hoping for today, but I can understand why since this is all about exploration, I guess they want everyone starting on an even foot.
 
Waiting until Friday for the PC release is pretty shit. Anything to stop my Overwatch addiction right now would be welcome and Fridays and Saturdays are really busy for me. Then there is the matter of the quality of the port.

I could have it already and given my PS4 a break from collecting dust, don't make me regret waiting Hello Games.
 
Went to bed, pre-load hadn't started. Slightly nervous.

Come home from work, game installed, theme installed, pre-order bonuses downloaded...only the patch to come & a (as of posting) 28.5 he wait until I leave Earth behind.

They are, they said they were getting stock today, I'm not 100% convinced they will though for some reason!.

If it doesn't get shipped today, I'll cancel my order and get it from the US PSN instead.

Aye that was going to my plan as well, price wise it works out about the same I think even with the weak pound.

There cancellation process isn't simple, you can't cancel from your acc page, you need to contact customer services.

Works out about £8 more digitally, but I guess it will save me having to use the disc.......
