Probably at the end of your Atlus path? I thought that was a given. But seriously, atlas stones. When do I get to use them?
No, the systems are made up to look cool, they don't have an orbit

Yep. Had a planet like that where I searched for hours. People kept telling me to look for birds or fish. There was no water on the planet or birds at all. I swear there was no final species, I spent way too much time trying to look for it and gave up.
But you can probably still hear it's sounds. They are the same on every planet, lol. Even planets with no life.
So ppl was saying that animals dont interact with each other?
Well i just saw a velociraptor kinda dino with the trait (Stalker) chasing and killing a flying pig. The pig creature was trying to run away for some time, but the dino was faster and managed to do enought damage to kill him. After he killed him he just walked in circles around the dead creature untill i got close enought and then the chase was on me.
I have seen many creatures chase others, but in all the other times the stalkers was slower than the preys. This was the 1st time i actully saw the hunt to the end.
I think the next OT title should be "No Fun Allowed" as that seems to be the prevalent concept among the people who don't seem to "get" or enjoy thing game. They can't seem to let us enjoy it as well.
It's cute seeing the same asshats jump-in head first on any chance to shit on the game or the developers. And by cute I mean sad af lol.I think the next OT title should be "No Fun Allowed" as that seems to be the prevalent concept among the people who don't seem to "get" or enjoy this game. yeah its super annoying. If you want to go shit on the game go do it in a different thread. In the past week the game has paid for it self with my expectations.
Perfect game just to zone out and get lost in despite flaws, im looking forward to see what kind of support they will have going forward.
I found a planet full of Venom Sacs and i farmed for an hour. I got myself 10m units and bought a nice 30 slot ship for 9.5m!
Pre patch they were orbiting but they had to take it out because testers would feel disoriented apparently...I haven't really seen this discussed yet, but are planets actually orbiting?
When playing the game or even watching stream they don't seem to be... which begs the question... are day/night cycles based on orbiting or just simulated..... hmmmm
48-Slot ship guide w/out buying it!
Very helpful for ship hunters out there.
Don't wait for hour(s) at space stations/trade outposts waiting for that dream ship. Go find it yourself!

Same.I really wish they would put it back.

Nice, as you should be. I wish I'd figure this out earlier instead of just jumping star systems thinking ships automatically get better and better with more slots. I know I wasted at least an hour at a space station just ship hunting.Wow, I'm patting myself on the back for figuring this one out myself.
Do not go to reddit...
People are actually saying shit like
"Only idiots who fell for the hype like this game"
And people are seriously upvoting that bs..
Seriously. Read the patch notesNot sure if serious.... seriously?
I still haven't seen a venom sac on any of the planets that I've visited.
Also, don't forget you can get the other traders and merchants to lower the price on their ship by removing all of the upgrades on yours. The ship I wanted was 23M, but before I bought it I removed all of the shield, gun, pulse drive and hyperdrive upgrades. The price went down to 15M. 38 slots, too!
Found this badass rifle multi-tool just chilling in a random outpost.
Nice. I'll be happy with blue skies during the daytime and some green grass/trees.I found a planet with landscapes making up the United States with some weird other continents.
Only difference: there was no Michigan or Texas.

Played some more this afternoon and I think I've settled on a wish list of things I'd like to see fixed:
- Definitely needs more outpost/monolith variety. These things are way, way too plentiful on literally every planet and moon so it does get tiring seeing the same structures and same layouts.
- Separate item slots for cargo and upgrades. I think this would lead to more interesting ship variety, ie. you could have cargo ships with 20 slots for cargo but only 6 for upgrades, or you could have smaller fighter ships with 10 slots for upgrades but only 4 for cargo.
- The ability to move upgrades. Having to deconstruct and rebuild upgrades just so you can position them differently feels like an oversight to me.

I wish there were an easier way to tell which planets had no animals other than landing in them.

Eh, is this even possible having two large planets this close without them crashing into each other in real life? lol
They really need to fix landing on launch pads. Maybe 50% of the time, my ship lands 10 feet away from the launch pad. Rarely do I ever get the target prompt and that radar is useless with it, so is there a real way to land better?
Getting lost in tunnels, blasting through to the surface and seeing daylight is so good.
Having to move installed upgrades feels like a design decision to me. It's a risk if you want to move it later, it costs a bit of resources because you only get half of the mats from deconstruction. Makes ships/multitools with better layouts and upgrades matter.
I actually like the push-pull of upgrades and cargo sharing slots. I like the freedom to spec more in combat upgrades or for more storage. That said, there needs to be upgrades for cargo haulers. Something like an upgradable "cargo compactor" that lets you stack more per slot based on what tier of upgrade you have. So say you have Cargo Compactor Sigma, instead of stacks of 1000 on your ship, you could have stacks of 1500, or even 2000. And then with all 3-4 installed, you could stack like 10,000 per slot. Of course you'd need to be able to transfer technologies between ships to make this work when you buy new ships, but I think it would add an extra layer of progression that would appeal to traders (and hoarders). They also need to add a small amount of stacking for non-rare sellables STAT. Power cores and shield shards serve no purpose right now when the pure minerals work just as good/better and can essentially work multiple times per slot.
But agreed, we could definitely use more ship and building variety.
I don't know if this vid in this tweet was posted . But it sums up my feelings towards No Man's Sky. Also it's Hilarious.

First time I wandered off too far & deep in the cave systems and was utterly lost. Did this and it lit up my face, seriously.Getting lost in tunnels, blasting through to the surface and seeing daylight is so good.

Found yet another planet with Gravitino Orbs and with my upgraded suit, I can carry away ten of those per run now. Not entirely sure it's the fastest way to get money, but it's fast enough.
I also found a usable crashed ship, but I needed that Resonator for the Hyperdrive, and had to buy one. Can you get the recipe for that?
My biggest want right now is copper. I can find everyhing else that's green, except copper, and I need 400 of it for a Warp Drive upgrade. I assume it's in the potato asteroids?`I'd love to find a planet with copper towers, though.
