Now we've hit December, which system had the best library in 2015?

I'd say Xbox One.

Not only did they have all the big third party exclusives, but some great first party content as well.
PS4 had all of the great third party content as well, but first party wasn't that great.
Wii U had its usual handful of first party games, while missing out on every single big third party game.

It really comes down to taste. The PS4 actually did have a good first party lineup if it aligned with your tastes. Bloodborne and Until Dawn will end up on many people's GOTY list, and all year the PS4 has been the only console to play what likely will be many people's number 1 GOTY, Rocket League.

If you're just straight up asking which system had the best library then wii u is in absolute last place. A handful of exclusives can never make up for an utter lack of 3rd party and multi platform titles. Wii u missed out on one of the best multiplatform years in the history of gaming. It is an utterly catastrophic failure in this regard. I know people will try to argue this but....lol. You're wrong.

i don't like both the art design and the gameplay of Tearaway. i am sure many others like it so we its just an opinion.

When you are married with a 9 month old baby, you do not really lots of time to play. you go back home around 6 @ night " work finish @ 5 " between eating, spending sometime with your wife and your kid, you barely have 1 or 2 hours MAX to play before u go back to bed..so usually i like to play some multiplayer games like Destiny, COD " not much though anymore" Titanfall. Drive club, Halo. these kind of games that doesn't force me to spend long hours in a single player game.

there are always exceptions though. some games i love very much i have to play them snigle player. Halo, Uncharted, Tomb Raider, MGS. but these games are limited.

Sometimes i play with the wife Super Mario 3d, Mario kart on wii u.
I have time but sometimes I just don't feel like playing. Not like when I was younger. I just prefer deeper gameplay I guess. Objectives and something engrossing or more unique.

PC > Xbox One > PS4

There are too many PC games to list. Xbox One has Halo 5, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Motorsport 6. PS4 doesn't have any good exclusives.

HahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahHHahahahahahahahahahahaa

Lol really???

Xbox fan spotted

I always find it funny when these topics don't want to include the PC. I suppose that's some way to feel better about their purchase or helps them sleep at night.

PC will continue to have the most exclusives and get 99% of the multiplatform stuff. PC for sure.

What about you guys, which console gave you the most enjoyment in 2015?

The console that you mainly play on is the one that gives most enjoyment. Strange question. Dont get it.

But the gamez I like are da best.

Best Library is silly, I mainly play coop shooters with friends online so Ps4 it is, Xb1 list would be equal but did not buy one as Ps4 is weak enough and should of been stronger....

WiiU has no games that would interest me or my son at all.

I hope all you guys saying 3DS aren't European. Europe got denied 5 of the best 3DS games of 2015: Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, Legend of Legacy, Stella Glow, Story of Seasons and Yokai Watch. This makes 3DS games of 2015 in US awesome but mediocre in Europe.

PC is First Tanks to Games like Beginners Guide, Cities Skyline, Her Story, Undertale, Pillars of Eternity, really unique and fantastic Games. I

PS4 is probably second because it had more smaller titles than Xbox, but also Until Dawn and Bloodborne

Wii Us Library was to small this year and Xbox had also very good games and more games, that's whiz Xbox is third

I didn't include mobile, but mobile also had some really nice games

Wii U, for the 2nd year in a row. Splatoon and Mario Maker are just too damn good. Bloodborne is good, but seriously overhyped on this damn forum

PC by far, imo.

A look at my end of year goty list has a vast majority coming from the PC side of things, both in exclusives and the best versions of multiplats.

Well to be fair most people who are knowledgable about this already know that PC is ahead of the curve so it really goes without saying. The three 8th gen consoles are a more interesting debate.

I've only listed the games i've played so please correct me if I missed some great ones.

You didn't list the portables, but in terms of raw enjoyment Monster Hunter 4 put the 3DS out in front of everything else for me this year. Easy GOTY pick, really good to see a sequel improve on it's predecessors while adding something new, and also making itself the most accessible entry for newcomers yet. The randomised expeditions, relics and guild quests add a huge amount of stuff to do on top of what is already a huge single player campaign and hundreds of hours of multiplayer.

However, if you're looking for a list of variety, rather than what specifically appeals to me, it's hard to argue with either PC or the huge amount of stuff released on PSN. The variety and raw numbers released on the Vita was huge compared to the 3DS this year too, even if I spent more time with MH.

For me, Xbox. It had the multi-plats I wanted plus the exclusives I wanted (Halo 5, Tomb Raider - my GOTY, Rare Replay, Gears UE, etc.).

To each their own, though. Every platform had something to smile about this year.

Platform with unlimited power and price. What consoles achieve in their price range is quite remarkable, but of course, provided you have the money, time and dedication, PC is the right choice.

Hard to really say this year, because most of the games I really enjoyed were either PC exclusive, or multi-platform (where I usually default to my PC again).

I liked Bloodborne on PS4, and I liked Halo 5 on Xbone...but the amount of games I played on each was pretty small. I didn't even get a game for my WiiU this entire year, but at some point when I find Splatoon cheap enough (couldn't get one on Black Friday) I'll grab it.

I guess I'd give the edge to PS4 because Bloodborne is in my top 10 games this year, but if I cheat I'd easily say the PC had the best releases this year. Cities: Skylines, Pillars of Eternity, Invisible Inc., Homeworld Remastered Collection, Satellite Reign, Hard West, Sunless Sea, etc.

PS4 for sure.

While Bloodbourne isn't my jam, JRPGs are, so Disgaea 5, DQH, and ToZ all coming this year (and in 3 short weeks) made my day. Then there's stuff like Until Dawn, and all the big multiplatform releases.

PS4 because of BloodBorne, Disgaea 5 and Until Dawn. Next Year it will be because of SFV and Uncharted, and playing Valkyrie Chronicles again with trophies.

So many more awesome smaller games on PS4 though, it's just no comparison IMO. PS4 is like a PC-lite, so many great indy's are still exclusive.

The Wii U, ironically.

PS4 had Bloodborne, but that's basically it. Xbox One still seems like the most uninteresting platform ever made. PC had a typically solid year. 3DS had Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and not much else. The Vita wa.... LOL, jk.

PC.

Just like every year.

Oh consoles? Uhh...
Honestly, I think Splatoon and Xenoblade Chronicles X are the only games that came out this year that I'll actually play this year. I normally don't like buying games close to launch.

So Wii U I guess.

PS4, because of Bloodborne. My favorite game in over a decade.

3DS had Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and Majora's Mask 3D though, which makes it a close runner up.

Wii U had the glorious Splatoon, so it gets an honorable mention.

I love PC but anyone claiming that it has the best library this year is full of it. Sure most good console games were also on PC, but it had few great exclusives - especialy compared to other systems. I'd say PS4 takes the cake here:

-Bloodborne
-Tearaway
-The Order (yeah it's not great but it's a fun little game)

Lol I guess PC doesn't count. Just like graphics discussions.

Graphics discussions involving PC are pointless since any given PC ranges from "I can successfully start this game" to "This is the most beautiful thing ever", depending on how long it's been since you've upgraded, and how much you invest in the platform.

Like, it's a given that, barring exclusive console offerings, a modern PC with the right hardware gives you access to more games, and better looking/running versions of all the multiplatform games. There's nothing to discuss there.

WiiU for me. XB1 and PS4 haven't really hyped me up this year - mainly because the multiplats that could/would are also on PC and I haven't cared for the exclusives, though I acknowledge they are good games.
