WOW!

I guess there's plenty of room for both ESPN & NCAA. WOW!

I'm also really surprised at those SPiderman 2 numbers. They really bounced up from June, even considering it was only sold for 4-5 days in June. And Full Spectrum Warrior really, really dropped hard, along with Riddick.

Looks like Sega made the right decision with the budget/bargain bin pricing. Of course, because of that, they have to sell a ton of games just to make what little they made last year, but if ESPN NFL2K5 can maintain good sales, they should be able to do that and hopefully a bit more. Looks like there's a future for the 2K series after all.

As for NCAA 2005, well it looks like EA could start printing their own form of currency off of that pile of cash. lol

Nearly 800k for ESPN 2k5. Wow.

I think this answers the question from last week as to whether Sega's claim of 'one million sold' was based on shipped in or sold through. I'm very, very impressed. I don't have the numbers handy, how to these totals stack up to the LTD for last year's ESPN games? Should be close.

Ouch! Does somebody have last year's NCAA first month numbers? The Cube version looks like it took a hit.

How much has Tales sold worldwide?
About 421k all totaled so far... it could more than double that with continued US sales and the Euro release (which would put it in line with ToD2 PS2 as best selling in the series).

Yeah, but Halo is catching up pretty fast. It got a huge, sustained boost when it went from $50 to $30, and will likely see another when if formally goes to $20, likely around Halo 2 launch time. I don't think it will be #1, but it may be closer than many people think.

Wow, is that really LTD for each game? Ouch!

I'm glad something finally went according to plan for Sega - this was a do or die decision. Clearly, they 'did'.

This game, unfortunately, will be quickly forgotten in the Madden hype. It will not sell well at Christmas. It will be a very, very big stretch to hit 1 million, but even having the possibility is unbelievable.

Totals for Top 15:

GC: 676,300
XB: 1,233,994
PS2: 1,920,971

but is not really fair to ps2 since their 15th best selling game would be like 6th on the gc list..

I'm surprised at the Mega Man EXE numbers - if combined, they'd be 3rd in rank (or 4th, if you combined the Pokemon games).

DDRMAX2 in the top 15 for the PS2? Huh.
