"MAF gets helmet knocked off and a puck to the face. Conklin will come in and be our savior."

Screw you and bad mouthing Fleury. He's what keeps this team alive!

Wow. That was some quality entertainment right there. We still have a LOT of work to do, but I'm thrilled that we now have life and have actually scored! There are cracks in the armor! Let's keep it going, boys!! WOO!

BELIEVE.

Fleury would be golfing right now if it weren't for Conklin.

Good game from the Pens, but my god do they need to learn how to clear the puck.

Yeah, this has been a HUGE issue in this series. Heck, just winning the small battles along the boards and coming out with the puck would be nice.

What I liked about this game is that the Pens actually learned to hit after the first period, and showed some emotion. I really hope this will fire them up and get them rolling for game 4. It will be another must-win.

"Did you not watch the middle part of the season?"

I watched the whole season but it still seems pretty dousche you being a fan and all to have that little support for Fleury when he's been playing outstanding as of late.

This game has convinced me. The Penguins must and will do whatever they can to keep Hossa.
Would rather keep Malone.

Great game played by the Pens tonight. Fleury stopped what he needed to, and we actually had some offense. Pens in 6, I still believe.

Good game for the pens, but they still need a lot of work if they want to win more games. Defensive zone play is still pretty bad. It just seems like they are over complicating things instead of making the simple plays. Gill needs to get his fucking head in the game too, we are still taking too many penalties. Malkin really needs to get going too, he had some flashes tonight, but he's still been a non factor I think.

On the positive side, Orpik was a fucking monster and needs to continue with the hitting. (Sadly he probably won't be with us after this season) I thought Sydor played pretty well for being out so long, and he had some nice passes. Now that Crosby is getting pucks in the net, look out. Can't wait for Saturday!

I like Ryan a lot, and he's a great leader, but they need a guy to play with Crosby, and Hossa is THAT guy. I have no doubts in my mind that he WANTS to be here if they can compensate him appropriately, and they can. They just have to make sacrifices.

Hossa will want more of the green than Malone and would probably cause too many sacrifices to keep just to make Crosby happy.

I didn't say Crosby would be unhappy. Crosby will be happy no matter what, that's just the kind of guy he is. Hossa can just PLAY with Crosby, that's all. For whatever reason, it seems like it takes a different kind of winger to play on Crosby's line, and they've had too many failed experiments. Palffy quit the league, for Christ's sake.

Come on boys.... we don't need NEOGAF Penguin Defense force getting any cracks in the foundation...

As one of the founding members (I think Alucard has seniority on me by a few weeks only), we need to all start to unite under the phrase WWGRD?

If you know what that means, your a true pens fan!

What would Gary Roberts do?! And the answer to that right now is, crunch Kronwall.

i yearn for the day zaraki uses quote tags

not sure why but it bugs me too. I'm not usually anal about such things though, so I'm not sure why that particular thing annoys me.:lol

Let's not get too excited and start looking ahead to next year already. I'm just going to enjoy this victory for now and hope the Pens can keep the pressure on for a game 4 victory. I STILL BELIEVE.

See what happens when you finish your checks and bear down on the player with the puck? You win hockey games.

See what happens when you don't finish your checks? The other team scores.

Ya, I couldn't think of a better way of putting it. I meant that even though they will lose that chemistry it will probably cost them an amount of money which will cause cut backs elsewhere which will result in problems in other places than line chemistry with crosby. As much as I like and appreciate all that Hossa done they're other players I'd rahter have them worry about paying before him. I think Malone is the better "bang for the buck" so to speak.

well, fuck. i actually predicted a 3-2 wings loss to my co-workers today. nailed it :P

close game, what can you do. at least it could have just as easily been a wings win which is more than you can say for the pens in games 1 & 2.

btw, anyone else find it hilarious when they actually made a point of complimenting sid for not whining after a particular play? seriously, that's what it's come to?

bleh...gonna go have some more drinks.

Not trying to start anything but they those guys have been making fun of and hating on the penguins for quite a while now. Well before any taking a dive or whining nonsense.

Can someone make a .gif of Orpik killing every redwing on the ice during that shift towards the end of the game? I will love you long time.

At least he isn't completely and utterly annoying like GAF's other purveyor of this (Teknopathic).

BIG COMFY COUCH
This all began in the Steam Community thread. He was replying, and that's how Teknopathetic was doing it, so he followed.

This should show you how fucking annoying it is. I REMEMBER WHEN HE STARTED.
