what movie was American Dad referrencing with that letterbox sequence close to the end? It played out similiar to something I've seen before but I couldn't place it.

Yeah, I didn't exactly get what was supposed to be the significance of the letterboxed movie parody sequence. Is that a reference to something specific? Even if it is, it seems like a very long time to devote to an obscure reference. It reminded me of Psycho, but if that's what they were trying to call to mind it would have been done pretty differently...

Man, Family Guy just isn't up to standard of the old episodes.

I laughed more at American Dad, and that is the hardest thing I've had to admit to in awhile...

I imagine that all of you guys saying this was the best FG are newcomers to the series, as there is no way this is up to snuff with the old episodes.
