Loved SWP "the judge" because he's always on the bench.

Also everyone else needs to see this:

..........Whilst Cedeo gets on my nerves a bit I do have to stand up for him in this instance.. A lot of what he was saying in that little spat seems to have been exagerated by personal feelings toward him. Whilst I think some of his reasoning was a bit, well, shit, I don't think he said anything too out of hand.

Also suggesting he get out of the thread, trying to force him away is a pretty harsh thing to do. If you don't like what he has to say then ignore him, sure, but, to try and exclude him completely from conversation is taking it way to far. :-/

Honestly, I do think he's a bit arguementative, but, it's really not that bad and I don't think it's possible for a single person to be blamed for the quality of a thread as a whole. Afterall, if everyone else was having reasonable discusion around his posts no one would even notice the odd arguementative post here and there. It's possible to have negative remarks within conversation as long as everyone involved is mature/responsible enough to let it slide.

Anway, that's just my 2p on this old couples brawl.....

I'm really excited about him as well.... Him and Bendtner actually. Both have looked really promising this pre-season.

Yowza.

Did anyone catch the lineup they just flashed? I think it was this, but I might not have caught it correctly:

Fabianski
J.Hoyte G.Hoyte Djourou Gibbs
Lansbury Randall Ramsey Wilshere
Walcott Vela

Wilshere is getting tons of play this pre-season. Wenger must really want him to be ready for the big show.

More bad news at Blackburn,

Blackburn Rovers players are reportedly on the verge of mutiny after losing faith in Paul Ince just weeks after his appointment as manager.

Ince has never managed a Premier League side before and, at the age of 40, is one of the youngest bosses in the league.

According to The Daily Mail, he is already struggling to quell the threat of a rebellion after disillusioning his players 'by the way he has tried to impose his personality on the club'.

'Some players have been less than enthusiastic about Ince's approach to training, which is said to vary drastically from Hughes' meticulous, scientific method, while others have complained that the former Manchester United midfielder is too egotistical,' the newspaper reports.

David Bentley, who has since left the club, is reported to have walked out of training in disgust after being ordered to do 20 press-ups 'as punishment for having his arms folded'.

An unnamed but 'senior player' is quoted as complaining: "We've gone from a well-organised, well-drilled back-room staff to one that feels like it's been patched together. A lot of us wanted to give him a chance to see how it worked out, but it's not looking too good."

Thanks, Falch. Are you going to do a Eredivisie preview for this season? It'd be cool to get one for every league if people are up for it. Get blaburn/falch to do the Bundesliga, etc...

You sure. I'll probably have it up in a week and a half or so. Dutch competition doesn't start until the last week of august anyway.

I'm not doing the Bundesliga though, just the Eredivisie. ;)

This you guys hear about this:

KENNETH PEREZ PRESS RELEASE: Shocking Ajax

Ajax keeps on treating Kenneth Perez badly

Decency and moral seem to have left Ajax since Marco van Basten took over.

In spite of the fact that Ajax six months ago persuaded Perez to come back to the club and in spite of the fact that he on several occasions has played very well – sometimes as a captain – Ajax is now going to stop him and keep him from doing his work properly on a high level.

Marco van Basten informed Kenneth Perez at their meeting, that he was satisfied with Kenneths attitude , but that he in the future should practice with the youth team and that he should not expect to play games since Ajax prefer to use only young players in that team.

On the meeting that took place Tuesday night where Kenneth’s agent Karsten Aabrink negotiated with the management from Ajax, both sides agreed that it is a very bad solution for both Ajax and Kenneth Perez that he is going to practice with the youth team. A financial solution should be found to solve the problem.

It is however Kenneth Perez´ firm belief that the new management in Ajax is not going to treat him with decency in this case although Ajax has created the problem.

Some press reports have indicated that Kenneth Perez has caused problems in the dressing room. This is completely untrue and has been denied by the Ajax management at their meeting with Kenneth Perez.

Like Dennis Rommedahl also Kenneth Perez wants to stay in Ajax to fight for a place in the team. Unfortunately this is no longer a possibility when he is forced to practice with the youth team. This may of course also affect Perez´ possibilities to continue to play for Denmark.

The situation for Kenneth Perez is still unacceptable and unclear but First Artists agent Karsten Aabrink is working to solve it.

This is the same guy that was sold to PSV last year, only to be sold back to Ajax last winter. :lol :lol :lol

Yeah, saw that. Juve's line-up was up for about 15 seconds :/

But it seems Mellberg, Legrottaglie and Chiellini are starting in defence, and Del Piero and Iaquinta are starting up front.

You missed out Giggs btw, he's the captain tonight. Da Silva twins, Possebon and Campbell are on the bench as well.

They are both midfielders, one of them can play as a forward too. 18 and 20 years, both will start against City on saturday.

0-0 at HT. Somewhat poor effort so far from Arsenal - too many sloppy passes in the midfield to really get anything done. There were a couple of chances each way.

Looking at the Ligue 1 teams, I think this might be the year that Lyon loses its grip on the top spot. I just don't think they can do it this year.

Cool to hear they'll get starting minutes. I saw a Cardaccio match. He seemed really good and I think/hope he'll be impressive against City.

Bit disappointing really. They can't get a good ball behind the Huddersfield defense, and as we do with lots of teams, we're pushing them back onto the edge of their area and passing in front of them without any real chances being made.

Although I'm pretty impressed by this United side so far (Everyone is looking especially sharp) I'm struggling to see where the goals are going to come from. Although Tevez can roam, I can see him getting frustrated and isolated in the future. With Nani, Anderson, Ronaldo, Hargreaves and Carrick to some extent all injured/suspended/out I think Campbell will undoubtedly be utilised in some of the early Premiership games. This isn't a bad thing as he looks great but I would prefer his introduction under less pressured terms.

That said the defence is looking awesome, absolutely fantastic. Plus with G.Neville at right back and with Brown keeping him on his toes it will probably get even better. :D

Hartley just got Petrovnized in the balls

There are many strikes out there that I would prefer from having Petrov's in my crotch, when he strikes it right there's nothing stopping the ball (except Hartley's).

Also, 0-0, City are dominating, the Boj has done some nice things, Garrido and Vassell do what they do best.

Yay \o/, maybe Sweden will have a team in CL this year, one can dream at least. IFK Gothenburg is leading against FC Basel away with 2-1 after a goal from young, seventeen year old, Robin Söder. If they go through they will meet portuguese side Vitória Guimaräes in the third qualifying round. They should at least have a big chance against them, and it would be a great feat for Swedish club football if they go through =).

Noonan is back.
