i agree with you about Kraft for the most part (we will be getting a SSS at some point thought. i think its an MLS demand at this point), but theres no reason to trash the almost 10k that showed up last night. not to mention the diehard folks who are there every game.

i assume you attend every home game of your chosen team?

no need to be a dick. dick.

edit: oh your a Cows fan? :lol good luck with that. keep your racist fans in line over there next time we come to town, k?
I trash the Revs fans because I don't like the Revs.

I mean, let's be clear, I'm an MLS fan first and formost, and I think it reflects poorly upon the MLS when the number one team in the league struggles to get over 10k fans to their games. All I've been saying is that when you've got a team that's as good as the Revs are every single year, and they can't draw anybody but 9,000 hardcore fans to the games, it might be time to start asking questions about the owner, the location, and the fans.

And, in fact, I don't attend my team's home games regularly, yet we have higher average attendance than your team, even though we haven't been good in 4 years while your team has been to two MLS cups in a row!

EDIT: Hmm, it looks like the Crew have a higher all-time attendance average than the Revs, and that's considering the Revs have their attendance boosted by double-headers! Any more enlightening comments about Crew fans, pal?

The numbers according to Soccernet.

Geez, I left the room and it was scoreless, I came back and it was 2-0.

3-1 now, it's definitely been an entertaining game.

I'm just wondering if it's a common occurrence for teams of this caliber to play friendlies against MLS teams and who Buckshaw can manage to draw (Please don't tell me it's someone like Vancouver Whitecaps or something).

LOL at Barcelona's ups training staff uniforms:D

edit::lol Fucking Rob Stone: "NNNNNNNNNNNNOO!!!!!!

haha, tbh I hadn't even heard much about this game until a few days ago. But yeah, it'd be an amazing experience to see him play in person. I'd just rather it be in a game that meant something. Even better in an Arsenal shirt though ;x

I got this tag because when Liverpool were signing Torres last year I was pissed because I wanted Arsenal to get him. We weren't linked with him or anytthing, I just admired him greatly. Still do. I even went as far as buying a Torres Liverpool shirt. I defend him pretty diligently when he comes under attack :lol not as much as I used to though.

no, I think Cornballer knows a mod, or maybe Lakitu?

:lol Cornballer, it should be a little more complex actually.

There are a few with access to the Bat Phone if necessary. Not me, though.

It's not a bad career path to start in MLS if you can't head over when you're young. A few guys have done it, and more are playing here and making the jump every year. I don't think it's a great idea to stay here your entire career *cough*Donovan*cough*, but getting a start here works for some guys.

no doubt Cornballer, it's not a bad place to get going. But, it isn't somewhere most footballers would want to stay. It is what it is.

is Bojan's name pronounced "Bo-Yahn Krik-ich" or "Bo-John Krick-Kick"? This announcer is confusing the shit out of me.

I always thought it was "Bo-Yahn Kick-ich"

Sure, but for most American footballers it's enough.

I wouldn't trust Rob Stone and John Harkes when it comes to this sort of thing.

you're 12th to our 13th in the league attendance standings and youre talking shit? i drive 1 1/2 hours from CT to attend Revs games for the last 4 years and do several road trips a year and you dont get out to see your team "regularly", but we're the fans with the problem? :lol

you dorks also have an SSS while we have an owner who puts us a distant second place to his American Football team in everything financial and in advertising.

you hate the Revs, but Rev fans dont hate the Cows because they have not been a threat to us for many years. there is no rivalry as far as we are concerned. you guys are doing very well this year for the first time in quite a while, you are finally getting a decent squad together, thats great. good luck to you.

but, try attending more than a few games a year (if that) before you question the dedication of Rev fans. or just sit back in your armchair talking shit when you yourself dont even go to see your team play.

I don't really feel the need to go why I only attend a few Crew games a year. I do feel the need to call into question why you're so defensive, seeing as I never questioned how big a fan you were. Guily conscience?

I never claimed that our attendance was great, though it is impressive for a team that has never been in serious contention for the cup, and hasn't been good in 4 years. On the other end of the spectrum is the Revs, who are regularly in contention for the Cup, and have been Eastern champions two years in a row, and have awful attendance, esecially considering how good the team is. Sorry pal, you can't defend your attendance, and you know it.

And in case you were thinking of trying to defend it, I'll post some attendance numbers for you:
Highest Attendance at a Revs game: 13,004
AVERAGE Attendance at Crew games: 13,241

Also, I said that attendance is on the rise for the Crew. Looks like that's not the case in New England:
Attendance at last Revs games: 5,863
Attendance at last Crew games: 16,117
That's Sixteen thousand, one hundred and seventeen at the Crew game, BTW. I know Revs fans aren't really familiar with five digit numbers.

I know that. I posted about that far before you came to try to prove to me that Revs fans are great by displaying a complete lack of knowledge when it comes to MLS attendance. Reading FTL, I guess.

Oh good, I'm glad Revs fans have some love for Columbus. That's great to hear. Hey, good luck to you and your team in your quest to lose another MLS Cup. I'm really pulling for you guys to make it three in a row.
