Real Madrid - Juventus this friday

Madrid are gonna get slaughtered in set pieces by a quality side, both goals from De Quito comes from corners with Real's defence all over the place

:lol @ Ronaldo getting that soft penalty, Please Never Change Ronnie, you legend you. Hope he gets the golden boot, and hope his team wins Fuck all

Juve's gonna slaughter Real on friday ? That's a bold statement, I wouldn't be too sure about that.
Mark my words. :D

Anyone watching the Asia pre-season cup? West Ham vs Tottenham are about to kick off, should be a good match - looks like West Ham are going for it, we've put out a near-full strength lineup, it'd certainly be disapointing if we end up losing to a 2nd rate Spuds.

Really excited to see Jimenez in West Ham colours for the first time and i'm quite optomistic after seeing the team line-up's - come on your Irons!

*edit, 10 minutes in and Luis Boa Morte's been stretchered off, what a fantastic boost for next season :/ Guess thats going to put more presure on Savio to perform.

*edit 2, Spuds looking much better organized and dangerous - come on West Ham, pull your finger out.

but the point is Zlatans SHITE, Eto'o is a class above him
You gotta be shitting me. I'm sure Eto'o wouldn't do anywhere near as good in Serie A as he did in La Liga. For once he won't have Xavi, Iniesta and Messi in his new team, Inter's midfield is shite.

I think people are really overrating Eto'o, I mean he is a great player... But people forget that Barcelona is full of world class players, you had to be complete shite to not perform in Barça.

You people also forget before that CL final goal, Eto'o was in a horrible slump went scoreless in those 2 matches against Chelsea and in Barcelona's demolition of Madrid, and in the Copa del rey final.

If he scores more than 15 goals for Inter, I'd be surprised.

you don't learn do you.
stupidity is not an option. You see, Ibra did a lot and more with rubbish midfield. Eto'o is good yeas, but he was provided the ball most of the time think Adebayor, rubbish player, but with amazing midfield, he scores lot of goals.

----------Macheda - Rooney----------
Park - Anderson - Carrick - Valencia
Fabio - Vidic - Cathcart - O'Shea

Is that the future of Man UTD?

1-0 United

Anderson with a Screamer from a free kick.

Valencia looks great too, taking people on, coming back to defend (also won Andersons freekick)

Man Utd 2-1 Boca Juniors

valencia played well, i think hes still lacking a bit of match fitness though. ando free kick was superb, the celebration was full of win.

wazza is looking the most impressive from the united team, i think this could be his year

What?

He was fairly poor today I thought.
Compared to normal Rooney levels anyway.

Shame Toure's gone, though I hope this means we're actually going to bring in a few players because a couple of injuries and we're going to have nobody to fill in again.

We'd better. The second tier of the squad is nowhere near the quality needed this year, and there doesn't appear to be anything on the signings front, this is starting to look suspiciously like last summer for Arsenal fans..

considering its pre season, his fitness level is pretty high. he covered a lot of ground today and did the dirty work.

bayern beat ac milan 4-1

so united v bayern in the final

You gave Man Shitty a striker and a defender, now get ready to give them your 4th place spot

Howard: 10/10

Hibbert: Good challenges but needs speed. 5/10
Lescott: Composed for a majority of the game but some of the clearances were horrendous. 4/10
Yobo: Was strong for the most part but again, falls into daydreaming trance. 4/10
Baines: Can't link up with Osman, can't blame him for the lack of attack. Did his defending job as best as he could. 7/10

Osman: Typical. 3/10
Rodwell: His worst game. Gave the ball away far too easily and looked like a boy this time around. 3/10
Fellaini: Looked like a log on bricks. But I will say, he knocked the ball down nicely with control. 4/10
Cahill: Had drive and desire but didn't have the goods. 6/10
Neville: Good defending but gave the ball away every second. 5/10

Saha: Took his goal well but was invisible for the most part. 6/10

Subs:

Baxter: Had good bursts of speed and was very energetic. Played some nice passes as well. 7/10
Wallace: Was innovative but nothing worked for him, he couldn't pick his pass. 5/10
Jo: Had good composure in and around the box, passed well to feet, I was pleased with him. He needs to take his chances better though. I.E the penalty and the diving header. 7/10
Vaughan: Ran like a headless chicken but his passing was woeful. And I think that if the ref didn't dawdle, James would have taken the penalty better. You could tell his 'drive' left after he had to stand there for two minutes. 7/10

Moral of the story:

Play like shit, Howard will still save our asses!

I am guilty of this. I usually slag Ibra and boost Eto'o, without ever pausing to consider the sheer difference in overall quality between Inter and Barca. However, I await still Ibra to really shine at the highest level; Eto'o has, admittedly with the help from some of the best midfielders around right now, proved he can come through in the biggest games.

yeah except those players actually had done miracles in 75 games while Anderson..not so much.

He's 21, Won 2 Premiere League medals (more than the entire Liverpool team combined), won a carling cup and a World club cup, Played in 2 champions League finals, Scored a penalty in the 08 final (something terry, Ronaldo, Anelka couldnt do) and was one of uniteds best players in the quarterfinal against porto in 09..........all this, and he's 21

No! We didn't win the Audi Cup :( That's our season ruined!

In all seriousness, bring on Valencia! I've got my tickets. :D

:lol

Cocaine's a hell of drug...Anderson is average. Anybody can sit on a team put in a few descent performances and pick up the medals. It's called riding coat tails.

Let's ask Man City how much they would pay for Anderson and see if it would be more than Terry, Gerrard, Anelka, Ronaldo even Henry at his age.

Maybe he'll grow into a world class talent he's only 21 after all. But for now...he's good but not great. Sorry.
