Haha brilliant, one second Denilson is indicating he wants to be subbed, the next he's bursting through the defense and laying off a pass. Why couldn't they play like this when I went to see them?

More transfer speculation for United

Sir Alex Ferguson is confident he will have signed a striker in time for the big Premier League kick-off next week.

While Manchester United's top four rivals have all been active in the transfer market, Ferguson has kept his wallet shut.

Although it could be argued a squad capable of lifting the biggest prizes on offer last term does not need much strengthening, Ferguson is aware he needs cover up front even though he is refusing to give up on injury-prone Frenchman Louis Saha.

A move for Dimitar Berbatov has already stalled amid Tottenham's disquiet. But the Bulgarian is still believed to be on a four-man hit-list, one of whom Ferguson hopes to have landed in time for Newcastle's visit to Old Trafford on Sunday week.

"We are looking at three or four different options in the striking department which I hope will come to a happy conclusion," said Ferguson.

"Hopefully we will have someone in for the start of the season."

Apart from Berbatov, Valencia's David Villa has been mentioned as a potential target, with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar of Ajax and Lyon's Karim Benzema other possibilities.

I would hate to see Benzema go to united.

agreed, He says he wants to stay in Lyon for the rest of his life, so fat fergie should get his dirty hands off and shut his trap.

and I want Pompey to win the Community shield. It would be a nice way to start the season

Benzema sucks. he was good when he was linked with Arsenal then he stopped being and so he's not good anymore.

At moments it did...... Not so much in the second half though.

The same could be said about our attack though. :p

I want Abramovich to leave Chelsea so Chelsea fall back to mid-table. It would be a nice way to end Terry's career.

So when in that piece did 'Fat Fergie' say anything about Benzema?

Anyway, Scolari is fatter than Fergie and Ancelotti is the same size, so Ancelotti + Scolari is much much bigger than Fergie. Maybe you should just support Milan?

Garrido instead of Ball \o/

Vassell starting ;_;

Predicted line-up. You and me probably know more than them about it.

I can see Sturridge, Ireland and Ben Haim starting, but Vassell will probably too unfortunately. All in all, I'm happy as long as the Boj is on the pitch.

Also, Yazan, pretty funny. City fans predict the score:

90% think City will win/get a draw.

Also, Leeds United just started playing our season premiere. New players this season:
Alan Sheehan (Leicester, young left back)
Enoch Showunmi (tall striker)
Robert Snodgrass (young Scottish winger/striker)
Luciano Becchio (Striker, former Barcelona man)
Paul Telfer (defender, the one)

Hopefully with Freedman coming in soon, released by CP.
This is the season, no stupid point penalties or anything. Beckford will hopefully be the top scorer in the league.

Seedorf isn't an attaccante, Viudez, who the fuck is he? he's the young guy right? oh well city should beat them.

He's one of our two new Uruguayans (?). Midfielder as well, but Ance. and Fester have changed what a midfielder used to be.

Always enjoyed our games against Everton, I'm just glad Duncan Ferguson has retired. Weird that we're the only 2 teams not to have signed anyone (although we do have 3 new brazilians that were all signed in january). Thx for Rooney btw, blame Newcastle, you may well have had him another season otherwise. I think we're pretty much paid the max we could now. I believe Everton got like 3-5 million this summer from us due to the league and champions league.

I'm as sad as u are glad he's retired, he always raised his game against tle likes of manu and the RS. Glad u are enjoying juda....wayne, between stretford's sweet whisperings and the barcodes opening the door he was he was always going, can't say it didn't pay off however.

Good luck for the new season all... 'cept the red shite :)
