I'd say that's fair in terms of the mechanics. The only real bad RE I recall playing was 5/6, it was the co-op one in the jungle. I'd say 3: Nemesis would be my pick after that.
I forgot you think SOCOM is god's gift to the earth. I should have known better than to have expectations for you as a human being.
It is one of my favorite games ever, so I would say absolutely. I have never tried the HD versions myself, but I hear they are well done?

We should've done 7 minute quarters with 25 / 30 seconds on the play clock. It's pretty much always chew clock as it is now anyways.
True. The accel clock can be pretty week.
Though I would hate to see people take a 30 second play clock down to 2 before snapping.

If it was still just a point and click adventure game with limited shooting then sure, but when they tried to make an intense action game and I was constantly fumbling around ehhh.
