Probably because using a backup forces more conservitive playcalling and throwing, then you carry over those habits for a while when you get a decent QB slinging it.

That game was at least tolerable, as a couple of the guys were helping explain the game to that 1-15 person. I prefer that than losing douches.
Axe is absolutely dominant once a higher level. That was the first game I'd seen anyone use his drain ability, which was a pain early.
No. I think that was what I was trying to get late in the game and I still needed the first couple items.
Or maybe I did get it? It was pretty chaotic late.

interesting tidbit on the latest giant bombcast, apparently EA "Fixed" Joe Montana football game back on the sega genesis lol. So they got a bunch of royalties and stuff for fixing the competitors game

To be honest I basically just grabbed recommendations from Roto Grinders. I know a lot more about the teams playing tomorrow than today.
I think the idea was to build him for sustained damage instead of burst. Tanky build + naturally high STR gain + Coconut Rum would make him incredibly hard to take down in a fight. Really strong laning presence early on too, although he kind of has that already without Vanguard.
