Official Madden '15 PS4 League Thread: Wards? Where We're Going We Dont Need....Wards

I, for one, am glad that the Nintendo version only let you throw goddamn apples since they had that stupid no violence policy back then. Certainly better than using a sword.

The first thing I thought of when I saw it was delayed was that they were gonna put it on project nx too. I just hope the game is awesome.

Mother fucking fuck fuck! Lost 130,000 souls to the Forbidden Woods boss. Somebody want to help me retrieve them and beat the boss in about 15-20 mins?

Just took down the boss after a few tries. I'll be more than happy to fuck them up again.

The genesis aladdin game played like an average ass 16 bit platformer. Dime a dozen.

SNES version had Capcom prime. Cant be touched.

SNES didn't have a Capcom prime for these games. I don't think any of them exceeded the NES variants.

Again, making me feel better about my opinion. Any time i dont agree with the morons on gaming side is a fucking plus in my book.

Please. Tell me how good Goof Troop is?

I also don't even dislike Aladdin for SNES. So don't understand your contention.

I may have just spent the past 15 minutes listening to music from Little Nemo.

So there are always good things that come out of 8 and 16 bit arguments.

You want to try again? I think my bell is still ringing.

That was fun. I didn't know that you also got souls from co op. Thought it would all be insight. Now go spend does souls Crimson!

Thanks man! 170,000 echoes I'm about to spend! That was pretty easy. I didn't want to risk losing all that blood though!

Yeah it's been like that in most of the souls games. Dark Souls you got souls and humanity I think. Co-op is probably my favorite part of the series. I usually farm levels that way and also use it to practice against bosses.

Thats understandable. Yesterday I was freaking out at the thought of losing 57k souls, nevermind 3 times that. See I never played a souls game at launch so I completely missed out on co op.

Haven' played Bloodborne last couple days. In the last thirty minutes I finally unlocked that shortcut to the Cleric boss then went and whupped his ass with zero difficulty. Progress!!!

GG Crimson, really enjoyed that game.

On the 3rd down and 2 in your end I chose the wrong play but didn't want to burn a timeout, Spiller ended up getting stuffed and I had to go for it since it would've been a 51 yarder into the heavy wind. That fucked with my head.

Also pissed that I let you get 3 before the half; ridiculous wind and a 60 yard fg lol

I just knew you were gonna win at the last second the whole game I was so surprised when you dropped that last pass on 4th down. I've gotten lucky a lot this season.

I was going to run another play at the end of the half cause I didn't think I was close enough but Madden told me to kick it. I checked it out and it looked good and I actually got full power on it. Longest FG I've kicked in this year's game.

GG FMT, had fun playing you this season, I got a lot of lucky breaks early in that game. Had to switch out my corner after you toasted him early, went with the faster corner and it made a difference.

On the early Ogletree int, my OLB smashed VD on a good jam at the line and he threw him into me, I didnt mean to hit him, wasn't expecting the jam at all. Thought that was a TD to my TE, but I wasn't sure if it was worth the challenge. Playing in SF stinks, weather a factor, receivers falling. Seems like it's always raining.

gg LJ. that was a frustrating game. i made so many stupid passes (lucky to have only threw 4 picks) and i really blew it early with that redzone fumble by kap. i was kind of trying to wait until the LAST possible second to slide because sometimes he'll go into the animation and prevent getting it but i gambled and lost on that one.

then on the pick before the half i already made up my mind where i was going as soon as i saw the LB wasn't dropping underneath. unfortunately the CB sat waiting and crabtree kind of made a lazy move back to the ball. couldn't keep your d-line off me either.

lucky i have that nfcw cushion tho!

son of a B! i felt like there were a couple times where i had that backup CB beat too (on the first Int slant to crabtree) and either didn't go that way or got hit while throwing. i've been trying to get people to stay honest deep more with a couple shots early but that's kind of playing with fire since those are easy jump ball picks and i am a terrible manual WR. dont knkow if you saw the one time i tried it and failed badly

p.s.

that TE endzone "non td" was absolutely a TD. i agree i probably wouldn't have challenged in the 2nd half either unless it was do or die because who the fuck knows if madden "sees" what you see on screen. but he for sure got 2 feed down from what i saw

The backup CB has slow ACC but top end speed, while the other has ok ACC and only 90 speed. Starting CB is taller too, but your guy was running by him, you could tell. And yeah, I thought the backup might get roasted, but it's the slow ACC, he gets off the blocks like a turtle but 94 top end so he made up ground.

My WRs keep getting hurt, it's hard for me to develop any kind of chemistry, I like Crosby but I swear he goes down every game.

That game is fucking great. Some people say the genesis one is better. Those people are actually insane.

I always thought the Genie stage was great.

Edit: Thanks for proving my point AZ

Totally forgot about that game. It makes me want to find my Genesis to play it.

Edit: Also, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was GOAT.

3 + Knuckles was way better

For whatever reason, I prefered the second. Maybe it's my nostalgia glasses but it seemed simpler and also had some terrific levels (Casino night and Oil Ocean) as well as the Wagner-inspired song on the Airplane level.

Also, beating Metal Sonic AND the final Robotnik was one of the most satisfying victories in all of gaming for me. Metal Sonic was hard enough only to lead into ANOTHER boss.

For insight, N64 Smash is my favorite game of all time.
