I had a dumpster of a draft outside of the RT I took in the first round who has IBK blocking of 86. He is starting for me despite having lower PBK and RBK than Derek Newton. Poppy gotta eat.
I didn't do nearly the amount of scouting like I did in past seasons. Just basically looked at a few combine numbers, position need, and placed my faith in EA.

I'm so happy my godlike ROLB went to Wisconsin.
I just remember last year, i think it was, when me, crow, and someone else all drafted RBs from Wisconsin in the first round, and they were all beasts.
It might just be familiarity bias but I swear every year like 15% of the guys in the pool are from Wisconsin. I didn't notice this year, but the last two drafts each had 2 Wisconsin QB's highly rated.
I completely revamped my offensive line without adding any new pieces. I just shifted guys around. It significantly increased my pass blocking stats. No idea if it helped because CB never blitzed and honestly I don;t throw a lot of deep stuff, but if it did that would be nice.
I've made the playoffs a bunch, NFC North used to be easy. It would be either me or bob depending on who decided to not tank that year. I don't think I ever won a playoff game though.
Looking forward to that cakewalk again in next year's Madden. AFC South where all I have to beat are midgets and scammy game devs.

I got one or two slow development players. I know my 2nd round pick was slow. Last draft I got that OLB that was 2nd in talent and was slow but he's like a 89 now. That shit doesn't matter at all in this game with the XP at the default settings.

Fuuuuck, sorry Rinse. His stats aren't great, will take 10k XP to get him to 90 Throw Power. I'm honestly hoping for one thing, faster throwing motion, Foles takes forever.

By the way, there was some 89 speed, 89 ACC, 6 foot 6 LB in the FA pool. Maybe I was delirious and put numbers in different stat categories, but I signed him and if these numbers are true, LOL.

Mettenberger has 95 thp and man it makes a difference! Throwing the same routes that Natty Ice did I noticed a HUGE difference already!

There was some rust going on between Blue and I last night in our game for sure, I made a couple bad decisions passing wise, but god that Seahawks defense moves so fast. Guy would be way behind my receiver and I'd throw it and he'd be there in an instant, thankfully I don't play them again.
Was a pretty fun defensive game and I felt like I played LB pretty well compared to last season, just need to treat Madden 16 as a training tool for Madden 17 at this point.

Not the order I drafted in but that's what it shows for some reason.
Still mad both Taylor and Rosemond were gone by 10 and I legit took the wrong guy with my first pick. Didn't want the QB or CB that was chosen but sim pick took them for me so whatever. The HB, LB, LE and WR are immediate players for me. The other guys will be roster fodder.
Didn't get much help this off-season considering every FA went to either Washington or Chicago.
Shit my LE is already 81 after drills.
I hated my draft as it happened but in the end it wasn't so bad. Thankfully I was able to minimize my mistake in the second round taking the other QB by flipping him to KC for a future third. Could've gotten another starter but I looked at my list and there were no more picks that I was really in favor of so I took a gamble in case the guy I took was Joe Montana 2.0.
I really like the inside MLB I took and I am thinking about putting him at my #1. I usually control the second MLB guy and I want to unleash him to the Madden gods.

Not that I've seen.
I've done it. Despite having better kick stats in every category, their kicking meter was fucking razor thin. Also, you still need to have a kicker on your roster because EA is raterded.

I remember in preseason games it used to sub the punter in at K and he couldn't kick more than 10 yards.... which is strange because you can make your P the kickoff specialist and he can kick fine
