I'm pretty sure the Madden AI cheats slightly less than the Dark Souls AI. If nothing else Madden AI has to obey the same animation and physics rules, unlike Dark Souls.

if it is the actual first boss, the strategy i used is

when he charges up for the ice bream start running towards him to the opposite side of where his head tilts as he will spray clear across the level, but if you are right next to him you wont get hit and you can just unload on him. when he charges just roll around like a madman. doesn't seem that the first did much damage again him

I only played the Rams once this year and it was the Ghost of LJ, holy fuck I got destroyed by Gurley and that DL.

DL was actually no problem. Ran for over a hundred and passed for 300. Held Gurley in check for most of the game and then he broke an 80 yard run.
