Caldwell > Welker, R. Moss, Stallworth, Gaffney

Hell, Caldwell is a reason they lost to Indy. Wide open and drops a ball. Not once, but twice.

See-ya.
he caught two impossible passes in the chargers playoff game though. oh well, i guess the jets will take him, adding insult to injury when they win the division.

P.S. stop saying moss is better then anyone, he might be the most overrated trade in years for any team.

What would you feel if Moss was a Bear?

:lol @ Jets winning the division

TAMPA - There is no turning back for Tampa Bay rookie defensive end Gaines Adams - or the Bucs.

Adams will start his first professional football game Sunday when Tampa Bay travels to play Seattle at 4:15 p.m. in the season opener.

King Gaines Era is upon us now!

if i was a writer for that paper i'd be wittier. i'd say "Adams GAINES a spot on the starting defensive line". people would love that type of journalism

As weird as it sounds, you may have RB problems. You can't exactly rely on either Portis on Taylor, especially when you consider how well their backups played last season. Even if they're healthy, they're sure to give quite a few carries to Jones-Drew and Betts.

Also cut Jake now. He sucks.

Free-agent defensive end Simeon Rice, one of the few potential impact players remaining in free agency and a guy who enters 2007 as the second-leading active sacker in the league, reached a contract agreement with the Denver Broncos on Monday evening.

Rice, 33, arrived in Denver on Sunday, dined that evening with team officials, and then chose the Broncos' contract offer over the proposal the St. Louis Rams submitted.

According to ESPN.com's John Clayton, Rice's deal with the Broncos is for one year and $3 million. He accepted the terms once the Broncos decided to guarantee the contract. Along with the $3 million, the Broncos gave him the chance to make another $1 million through performance-based incentives.

this is NOT what Kansas City wanted to hear.

I know, I don't plan on keeping Taylor

if you think moss isnt overrated you must love the 49ers and vince young then.
Overrated why? He had dogshit in Oakland. If he remains healthy he and Brady will rip every defense they match up with.

"Garrard is mobile"
"Leftwich is not mobile"
End summary

Youtube sports????????

That's what that dude does, he posts loads of short videos expressing simple opinions with no real explanations then closes everything with "this is kige ramsey (or whatever his name is) youtube sports".

LOL @ Newman being out for week 1, if true. Way to cut the guy who was by far your best backup corner, Dallas.

Where are all these Giants fans coming from! I remember when it was just me here, then it was me and Lefty, then all of a sudden the flood gates broke open!

You know nothing of bye week problems. Here's a team someone drafted in my league (autopick, naturally):

Wildbird's Warriors
1. (2) Steven Jackson (9)
2. (15) Ronnie Brown (9)
3. (18) Brandon Jacobs (9)
4. (31) Torry Holt (9)
5. (34) Reggie Wayne (6)
6. (47) Javon Walker (6)
7. (50) Todd Heap (8)
8. (63) Tony Romo (8)
9. (66) Chicago (9)
10. (79) Jake Delhomme (7)
11. (82) Nate Kaeding (7)
12. (95) Marion Barber III (8)
13. (98) Julius Jones (8)
14. (111) Jerricho Cotchery (10)
15. (114) L.J. Smith (5)
16. (127) Rex Grossman (9)
17. (130) Seattle (8)
18. (143) Jason Hanson (6)

So, week nine he's missing his three starting running backs, his top receiver and his defence - and he'd better not have QB problems, because his top backup is a week nine bye as well (we play a 2 QB league). Weeks six and eight aren't looking pretty either, but week nine is a might-as-well-give-up-now prospect.

:lol @ Hito.

Aren't there about 3 Redskins fans here? Live, myself and theres one more I can't think of.

Sableholic is a Skins fan, though I haven't seen him post much in the offseason threads. Maybe he'll be more active now. There's 1 or 2 other juniors that have identified themselves as Skins fans. In other news, NEW AVATAR GET!

I must say that there is a great group of fans that post here. It's a colorful groups with some insane personalities that can give/take a good ribbing. Good luck to everyone this season. Unless you play the Redskins. ;)

Things are about to get brutal, though. Its pretty friendly for the off-season, but starting thursday people's mothers will be insulted, sexual orientation questioned, intelligence doubted, and self esteem damaged heavily. Friendships are about to end, and everyone will gravitate to their own kind. Its like the segregation era instead its split 32 ways instead of two.

I wish we all lived together in one huge mansion so I could put my "No Seahawks Allowed" water fountain. No way I'm drinking after mouths that actually laud people like Glasselbeck and Shaun Alexandria.

Plus we're about to get the glory of NFL fans that are fans of the same NFL team, but also of opposing college rivals. You'll see the limits of trolling there!

I don't think out of the regulars, but every once in a while someone will come on here repping the Cards. They'l lthen get laughed out of the discussion and we'll never see them again.

Thats why I actually have tons of respect for Kark. Hes the lone Raiders fan and he hasn't run away yet despite being on the recieving end of everyones jokes..

Pretty much. Eminem for example is my Bulls Brother in the NBA threads about around these parts he is a dirty Bears loving douche bag who totally wants Rex Grossman's package.

It's the reverse for me and Lonestar, same college team, different NFL teams.

Tiki blames Coughlin for forcing his retirement....Tiki to rejoin Giants after this year's 6-10 season forces Coughlin out of town?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3003699

Barber being an asshole or not, the Giants are most assuredly being held back with Coughlin in charge. And I think he's absolutely right in saying that his performance (which contributed greatly to their last two playoff apperances) is the reason why Coughlin still has the job.

Also, Eli sucks, but he would likely be a lot more consistent under a better head coach.
