The I found two +3 slots so far:
One in the Saman Village before you go the the Experimental Staff. The crow is selling it. And the second in Khent before you go to Gohtza.

Hmm.. Wait..
How do you make the Crow sell you a +3 slot thingy?
And its on Disc 2 right?

I'm playing this game slowly, partially because I am savoring it and also because time is limited after work.

Just got to Crimson Forest after the funeral... :(

Damn, I love this game. The English voice work is probably some of the best I've ever heard in a game. Those kids are really good too.

Anyone have a voice actor credit list?

not sure if it's 100% accurate.

Finished the
Temple of Enlightment
today.....damn that was a crazy dungeon. Took me forever. (stupid "stealth" ladders) Too bad that the boss was way too easy. He had a few neat tricks but once again he was way too low on health. And the reward is completly worthless at this point but at least it looks cool..... :(
I was also surprised that damage is not capped at 9999. Kaim hitting for 12k is awesome. :D

Only the
backyard
left now and at this point I really dislike the imbalance between mortals and immortals. They should have implemented some mortal only skills.

He looks incredibly detailed, including his hair!

yeah, I was unaware he was even in the game...thanks a lot!

I don't actually care, and if he looks as good as your avatar, I will indeed be impressed.

I think it was the Jp version thread as well as an NA thread so...

I bought BD when it came out and I also have LO. I don't generally post in the official game threads, but I have LO and the story is fuck awesome. I've been very impressed by what I've seen thus far.

I bought Blue Dragon as well, but I'll pretty much buy any JRPG that gets released in NA. I liked it until the time to go into Cube World and for some reason I totally lost interest. I'm hoping to go back and finish it after LO.

I'm getting ahead of myself quite a bit here but I was wondering if BD was worth picking up? Lost Odyssey has renewed my love for JRPGs and I was considering making a purchase so that I can fire it up after I finish up LO.

I love Jansen's character portrait. He looks like,"Damn dude, I just farted" and the funny thing is, I can actually imagine Jansen saying that.

I love it when he says
No dude would play the harp

Hey guys need some help on disc three
I am in gohtza playing as Cooke and I have no clue what to do. I talked to everyone and then there is that one platform I can't get on and that door that I can't leave because I am not with my "parents". What do I do?

Man, you quit right at the best dungeon in the game! You are almost finished if you made it that far, definitely go back and complete it. BD doesn't hold a candle to LO, but it's still worthy of a playthrough.

I'm trying to think of a 360 game that had a thread this active that didn't end up selling well. It's a faulty metric I know, but I DESPERATELY want more MISTWALKA!!

I remember Viva Piñata also being very well received, got good reviews, lot of praise and good "word of mouth" and it bombed anyway.

Anyway i hope it sells well. In Japan sold less than blue dragon but got above 100k, right?

And regarding character design, except for the queen which is peculiar and general Kakanas which is awfulll (although it fits his stupidty), the rest are between good and awesome (Kaim and Seth specially) and i like the use of traditional dresses, colors, with changes here and there.

And i´ll say it again xD, i loved the minigame stuff in the funeral and liked Mack and Cooke song.

playing as cooke have no idea of what to do or where to go

Train station? You have to talk to an old woman by the left train (she talks about an aurora) and then enter the right train as far as I remember.

Holy crap. Xplay gave it a 6?? Gamespy a 2.5?? What the flying shit!

Did Edge review it yet?

X-Play gave it a 3 out of 5 (an utter crime) which, contradictory to what metacritic and gamerankings tells you, is not meant to be 60%

Ya. The Xplay review is a perfect example of the extreme cynism reviewers have towards this Genre, which totally clouds their judgement.

LO is nothing short of an excellent game.

It's not that I quit. I think I got to that point right as I got Mario Galaxy, then I bought a PS3 for Christmas and played through some of those games, and have been playing some RPG's on the PSP and DS, so Blue Dragon got lost in the FPS machine (360) as I just never took out COD4.

I gotta get Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon done before MLB08 comes out, cause that game is going to own my summer. I'm sure I'll be able to do it, I'm sitting in the library waiting for class to start and it's all I can do to not skip out and go home and play it.

So, I am in the Crimson Forest, in this dungeon... there's this huge wall that doesn't allow me to on. In classic Zelda fashion I defeated all four golden statues :lol , but nope, didn't work. Also, there are these fire things that have this uber hard Flaria attack or something. They beat me. Twice.

NVM> Figured the pillar now.

Onwards to Disc 2. Disc 1 lasted around 9 hours and 10 minutes, this includes slowly reading the stories, checking some places out, and getting stuck in the dungeon at the end :lol . Barely any idle time, if any.

I'm amazed that people spend less than 10 hours on disc 1. I spent ~14 hours, and still missed out on several key items (and 3-4 dreams as well).

Brandon F

Well congratulations! You got yourself caught!
Disc 1 took me about 13 hours. I did spend time grinding enough to learn available skills for my immortals and explored as much of each area for loot as possible.

Seems like the guys over at 1up really liked the game and Gamespot might even re-review the game.
Say whut?

Same here, I also spent pretty much the same amount on disc 2 as well.

Just beat disc 1. Clocked in at 15:07.

I like how in the last disc 1 boss fight they don't
warn you not to wail away on Mack before you input your commands. I ended up slaughtering that little shit
. :lol

any tips on the second boss?

Prism his little minions w/Jansen and be prepared for the big hit when the second worm appears.

Try to keep his minions to around 1-2 so that he never gets a chance to build up his big attack.

It helps to have the yellow band accessory along with aqua or adamintis ring for the boss. All-Barricade for defensive boost use prism to wipe out the little guys and then take out the main boss with water based attacks. Rinse and Repeat.

Thanks for the help last night guys, I was so annoyed because all I wanted to do was go to bed.

Just popped in disc 3 a few minutes ago (yay!) but can't play anymore tonight (boo!).

Yea, I sat there idle for a few minutes trying to figure out what the hell to do. I knew it wouldn't be so obvious as to attack him, but what item or spell to toss out was tricky without hints.

What I did was have Seth and Jansen BOTH use prism, it would eliminate all the little baddies at once, leaving the big guy wiiiide open, rinse repeat. He won't use his big attack more than twice.

Also I just got to disk 2, just left the crimson forest at almost exactly 20 hours :D
Holy crap, shit just got real! The game starts to reaaally pick up once you dig into Numara jeez also I had a question about the crimson forest dungeon, what do you do with that
tablet fragment thingy you can find by rolling that big boulder on the pad
Man, you can find some awesome stuff backtracking once you get mack in the forest O_O

I totally didn't see grandaddy Kaim coming, blew my mind. WHOA!!?? Grandkids!?!?!?

Where did you do that? I rolled it off the pedestal thingy, but couldn't figure out where it belonged?
