Loving the game still, now at the beginning of disc 2, in the old sorcerer's mansion. I'm actually really getting into the combat system, since they really don't pull any punches. I had a game over earlier after not saving my game for a few hours and lost a lot of progress. Grrr, but I really liked the fact that it caught me off-guard when I forgot to heal in-between battles.
Still, nothing beats the awesome Thousand Years of Dreams intermissions which really puts this game into a class of its own. I just experienced "Grandma Coto's Bread" and... wow... I just turned off the game after that story and walked away from my console to savor emotional impact and high. (hint: wine helps too).
If folks are still on the fence about LO, don't hesitate to pick this up! Easily one of my favorite RPGs ever (and keep in mind I was in the middle of Baldur's Gate 2 when I started playing LO so the JRPG aspect isn't really that big of a hurdle).
