Thanks! Ended up ordering in, I'm just starting disc 4 and she is on the last chapter of Professor Layton. God, we are the coolest.

Kestastrophe said:I just finished reading the first "dream" and it was incredibly sad. Is the rest of this story this sad? I hope I am not going to be a weepy little bitch playing this game, but that was the saddest thing I've seen in a game.
*edit*
Nevermind. I just finished reading the second dream and it was equally as sad. These sequences are just beautiful with the ambient music, colors, and word presentation to make it a very moving experience. I have only played this game for about an hour, but I am already hooked into the story as it is the most moving in a game that I've played. Beautiful
Son of Godzilla said:I've played like an hour so far.
This game is fucking awesome. That first dream sequence was absurdly well done. Like, seriously.
Is there some way to turn off the ring system thing? I really don't want to do anything other than press a button every now and then to kill shit.
Tabris said:Hmmm. There's been treasure chests I haven't been able to get (namely Crimson Forrest). Are those for disc 4 plus? as I have no clue how to get up to some of the spots. I just went along and I just finished the north cave.
Meh, I suck at teh hints.Teknoman said:Also on the Mack hostage crisis, Jansen does say "Maybe we could knock him out" so thats a clue.

You're not even at the sad part yet, soon you are going to be crying tears of infinite sadness.Kestastrophe said:I just finished reading the first "dream" and it was incredibly sad. The best part of the boss fight was when Jansen makes a comment something along the lines ofGreatness Gone said:Just beat Disc 1 at Level 19 for all of my characters. I've had to try twice on every boss except for the first one. Lol, I killed, seriously I had no idea WTF I saw supposed to do. The monsters in the Crimson Forest were hard as fuck, while the boss was weak sauce.Mack
Phthisis said:So the final treasure on the treasure list is called Sarah's Gift, and it says it's in the mansion courtyard. But when I go there, the magic field detector doesn't show me where it is on the map and I can't find it after running around and hitting A the whole time. Anyone know what's up?

Jansen says that? Hah. Man, he's hilarious. :lolIlluminati said:The best part of the boss fight was when Jansen makes a comment something along the lines of. I totally lost it. :lol"oh no puberty" when he sees Mack possessed
Xevren said:Well your detector has 3 levels to it, so if its still level 1 or 2 you may have to get it up to 3 before it shows up. Some treasures require it to be at higher level.

Blimblim said:So now that I've finished the game I've finally listened to the OST in full, and there is no doubt in my mind that Blue Dragon's OST as a whole is much better than Lost Odyssey's. LO's main theme is awesome, but the rest of the OST has way too few really memorable tracks. And there is very little unity in between tracks too.
Not a bad OST at all of course, but it just feels a bit off.
Probably, but there are also quite a few tracks that are totally forgettable. I've been listening to BD's OST frequently since its release (minus the two horrible songs), and it doesn't seem like I'll be listening to LO's that often. Maybe it will grow on me.BenjaminBirdie said:There's nothing even close to "Eclipse Of Time (Harp Version)" or "A Return, Indeed... (Piano Version)" in Blue Dragon, though. Those two are, for my money, up there in Uematsu's Top Five Ever.

I can´t find it. Tried both quoted, the one in the warning stone/elevators and the other in the big stairs before the save point.
Anyother that i may have missed?

I'll have to agree with that. While LO may have some tracks that aren't completely fantastic, for the most part I prefer it to BD's. BD's was very good as well, but it did have some questionable tracks as well (some of that blip-blop techno stuff or whatever, though I guess it fits with the robotic setting).McDragon said:any and every music in the short dreams > BD whole soundtrack

I even have the strategy guide for maximum coverage of all the possible quests and items, but the game is too damn linear to me. I am in Numara already. When does it get good?
